Kripes it is almost the middle of January in Michigan and there is not a speck of snow anywhere near me. Today was positively balmy out, sun shining all day. And then here I am cleaning the basement lol. Turned the furnace way down and open the shutters on the big windows in the living room and the sun warms the house for most of the day. I have the perfect roofline for some solar panels.
I am so glad the holidays are over. I am working on getting rid of lots of toys. Shortcake is not as into the little guys and playsets like he use to be. Too much game lol. Seems like all the kids are into those dang games. Thank goodness shortcake is not as bad as his brother use to be lol. So I will freecycle a bunch of toys. I am trying to remember and match up the weapons and parts with the guys they go to or the vehicle so I have a table in the basement covered in parts lol.
Shortcake goes down and sees it all and comes up and says you can't give these away, everything else can pretty much go and he holds up this hard plastic 4" peice that looks like a bunch of bullets welded together and what looks like a transformer robot helmet for a little robot guy. Neither of which was I able to find what they go to. Okay, out of all the toys down there. A few hundred parts. He comes up with two pieces that have nothing to do with each other and says they are cool. LOL I don't have a clue. I think if he could get to his toys easier, most are in the basement play area, then they would get a lot more play time so I will get rid of most and bring up a few favorites to put in his room when we get it moved. I am so looking forward to getting him in there and getting my brother's crap out.
Cj's been working a lot of overtime so hopefully we can work on getting bills and taxes caught up. I called the tax office and they said I can pay itemized lines as long as I note which line it is....plus 5% added to every payment. Geesh, gots to get their money. Whatever they can have it I am tardy.
Jeannie I haven't seen much of you lately. I'll have to email ya.
Dee I am glad your holiday turned out so well and lots of prayers for your troubles to subside.
Cloudz I am so glad you have made a connection with kin. Sometimes thats all we got.
Pati sounds like you are getting the same kind of weather as us. Thank God your HM made it through everything relatively scar free. Such a terrible thing to go on and on. Now he and you can get some kind of closure.
Bella I tell ya nothing like family to stir up trouble. Sounds like a great, busy holiday.
You know I really miss all those people that dumped us last fall. Hopefully they will work their way back to us.
Well I know I have forgotten many but I miss and think of you all.
Been working on this too long, time to go. As usual I don't think I said what I popped in to say lol.

. we are all people in various stages of divorce or separation. i can understand some men do not want to commit. i don't either. i'm just so jaded, i don't think i'll ever fall in love again. i want to feel this instant chemistry and something else with someone...and i'm not feeling it yet. maybe that's too optimistic. i dunno. but, it is unreal to be dating after 37 years of being with one person. i never thought i would be doing that...had my life planned, got kicked in the butt. i move on, somedays happy, somedays miserable, but i MOVE ON!
