I have my computer with me this time, so I'll be checking in to see how you are and for your continued love and support.
Sally, you are going to extremes now to get our hunky boys here, Chip...en...Dale to shower you with attention, kitty hugs and offers of assistance!

You just take care of yourself, ok? Do the needed work, get yourself strong, entertain the cute attendants ( ), and come back home when you're ready, and not a minute before!

Glad you have internet access and can keep in touch...Ann is still trying to jam a chunk of chocolate into her disc drive to email it to you!

Tell those people to stop bouncing you around, Sally. If you're in a better situation, that's great, but let's hope there are no more of these moves in the offing for you.

We're not pieces on a chessboard that can "just" be picked up and moved around so easily.

Thanks for letting people know about the change. We promise not to send out the pack of search dogs to look for you.

"Moves in the offing"? What's an offing?

Didn't transfer, so checking in. Hanging in there. Trying to get strong and stay strong. It's the weekend here, so pretty much ignored.

                  How are y'all doing?

Hi Sally! So, where are you? Hospital, 1st rehab, 2nd rehab or 1st rehab second time?

For someone that doesn't get out, you are out a lot!

                      Hoping discharge planning is happening.

Sally I hope that your stay is better than before. It kinda upset me when you mentioned that they "yelled" at you. Making someone do something they don't want to do (exercising) is one thing. but.........

My daughter says that they encourage people to use their PC as tolerated. Its important that patients stay connected with friends and family. She has been known to help ICU patients post something on FB. According to her one of the first things that happens is people become "disconnected" from the world much less friends and family, they are in a strange place with poking and prodding going on 24/7. So it helps I guess.

Sally I guess you know there are A LOT of people pulling for you. Get well, get home and get on line. That is an order. And you wouldn't want me to sic Nurse Ratchet on you!

The nursing home that I was in ... supposedly one of the "better ones" in our area -- had NO internet access available to "residents", no phones in the room. There was a pay phone on either end of the hall. A PAY phone!! Didn't know they even existed anymore. I had to pay for cable TV (or watch soap operas, and rehab videos, on the 2 channels that I could access), and for internet access. Awful.
...I am not a doctor nor medical professional, and don't pretend to be one, here... :o

In the offing means something like in the future...but it is a future you can see..so the impression is that it is something that can be achieved. I think.

                                From dictionary.reference.com:

                                2. a position at a distance from shore.
