:) Hi everyone. Lacy is still standing on 3 legs and her right front paw is hurt. Her legs are smaller than my little finger. The lady who trimmed her nails must have twisted her leg wrong or something.

I checked between her pads and nothing there Agate. When Andy came by she went out on the leash with him and walked the whole neighborhood. I think she must have a sprained leg muscle.

I hope a few says of babying it will make it better. Since she can use it I don't think it is anything serious. I intend to talk to the groomer next time she needs her nails done.

Peg will be here later to start August off right. I cannot believe how fast this year is going. Jeanie :)

Cutting nails is difficult. Each has a blood vessel and nerve in the center. Both only go so far down the nail. What a groomer wants to do is cut right up to the important part. Too far, and it cuts into that nerve, and that HURTS. But the nail will grow, and cover the injury, and all will be normal again.

My dad raised dogs, and taught me all about grooming. Nails always made me nervous!
