Vicky, I am with Suze - I would have given a small fortune in my 30s too! Good looking legs. When we all come you can go around in shorts as you entertain us.

Jeanie, hope you have gotten some sleep today. Also hope Lacy I s alright now. My dog use to limp, sometime just slightly, when there was something in a paw. That would tell me to get whatever it was out.

Howie, how is your computer today? I think you might be more bored than I am and that is going a long way. And my dog NEVER drooled!

I drool too. I think that's why the cats stopped sleeping with me.

I can understand tinkering with your computer and then tinkering some more. Ever since I realized that "PC" means "personal computer," I decided that that computer was going to help me, not be a constant problem.

In my early days with a computer, I dreaded turning it on. I was very afraid of wrecking it. Then one day my son said, "You're too afraid of pressing buttons, Mom." Since then I've learned to press buttons whenever I want, and I keep on doing that until I whip the computer into shape and get it to show me a screen I can live with and give me sound when I want it and at whatever volume I choose and give me whatever information I want too.

You don't pay all of that money for a PC just to get saddled with a bunch of problems.

Virginia, the computer is running smooth as silk. The way it is now is how it should always be. I have a site for new computers with 8.1 already loaded on it. I may get a spare, and just put it away. I also have the info on how to transfer files from one computer to another. The Boy Scouts say "Be prepared".

Agate, when I first got a computer, my sister said "You can't push a button and mess up the computer". She was right, and pushing a button you have never used, is how you learn what it does.

I always have hot coffee too. One large mug in the morning and that's it for the day.

I'm debating if I want a mug of coffee now. I brewed a fresh pot earlier thinking I would, but I'm almost out of coffee like everything else.

This has been a tough month money wise, because I bought a few things at Amazon at the beginning of the month. But I needed them, not because I NEEDED them, but buying something for myself besides food, feels good and is good for me.

I've been meaning to ask you how your back brace is working out?

Oh, ANN, that's just your DH who's been blaming it on the cat.

Suz, that back brace is sitting in the box it came in, tucked away in a drawer. I have trouble with my lower back, and that thing would be good for a broken back. I'll just stick with taking Ibuprofen, it works well for it.

So ol' Howie has outlasted them all AGAIN. And here it was, Saturday night, the night you're supposed to cut loose and party till the cats come home, and look at you. All tucked away in your beds, drool flowing like a mountain stream, and here I am, all alone. Well, sleep well, and change those sheets in the morning. Pillow cases too!

Can you send the brace back? Amazon is pretty good about stuff like that..

Don't you know you're trying to take away Howie's favorite activity? He obviously adores complaining!

Psst! He has a Hoveround that's just sitting there, and if you want more complaining, maybe you should ask him about it.

In all fairness though, I've tried a Hoveround briefly and if you don't have a lot of space, it seems like a huge object that is mainly just going to be bumping into everything, no matter how useful it might be.

Wow, I sleep a little late, and look at the posts! The back brace cost me nothing. It didn't come from Amazon. It was such a nightmare to even order it, I feel like I earned it. If anyone wants to have it, let me know.

Agate, you are exactly right. The Hoveround would be better suited for a place with LOTS of room. I keep it back here in my bedroom and use it as an extra sitting chair. I will say, it's pretty comfortable to sit in. So I keep it plugged in to keep the battery charged. You never know, I might NEED it tomorrow.
