Man, this heat really drains you! I need another mug of hot coffee. The hot coffee helps me not feel the hot 100 degree temps. That sure is hot.

Cat, how's your recuperation going?
I can't believe that I STILL have these dang marks on my shins from my tumble down the stairs, what...2 months ago? They are finally fading a bit, but still clearly visible.
Think I maybe need to exercise more to get more blood circulation, maybe that's why they've been so slow to heal. Hot summer just isn't my ideal time to be getting out and increasing my core temp any more than it is already. Wish I had a home pool... ANN, do you do regular exercise?

I'm still here. Continuing physical therapy, looking in to finding a gym program near me. I have heard of one, but now need to find out just how accessible it is. Still weak. Lost a Lot of arm strength, too....bad, because I relied on that a lot for transferring, other movements. So I'm lifting weights with my arms, too, and go through a whole series of exercises to strengthen them, too. It's tough. But the would is all gone, no trace of issues other than one spot where the stitch must have been particularly deep, which is still a bit red. like scar tissue. But I'm up and around most of the day, staying inside under air, for sure.......I am not a doctor nor medical professional, and don't pretend to be one, here... :oComment

Speaking of movie stars - did any of you see the latest AARP magazine? Not the paper, but the magazine. They had 3 actresses on the front and featured them inside. One of them is Jane Fonda. She and I were born in the same year - would you believe my figure looks just like hers?

Hopefully you can get that arm strength back soon, Cat. I imagine those muscles were quite good to start off with, so they should respond quite well. You'll be back in the thick of things in no time. So glad your wound issues are all behind you (lol) now!

Virginia, I think Jane keeps up her figure by dancing. I think I recall her saying she and her husband dance at home almost daily.

I just saw something that was kind of funny on Facebook posted by my youngest brothers oldest son. He has 3 children. I did not know, but apparently he has been sick for about a week. My nephew said his Mom thought my brother has pneumonia, and that he was going to the Doctor. That was not funny, but he said my brother sent out a mass text to his wife, and all 3 children. This is what he had to say:
I am so sick and can not breath. I think I am dying so I am making out my will. I leave my wife, Terry to my 3 children so they will realize what I have been through for the last 30 something years. I leave my $36.78 to my oldest son Cameron because he will turn it into $75.00. I leave my two dogs to my daughter Erica and husband Brian. I leave my car to my youngest son Grayson because he needs several since he wrecks at least one a week.
My nephew said at least his Dad had not lost his sense of humour.VirginiaComment

I'm having big problems with this computer, just got a notice from JAVA. I think it's being worked on behind the scenes. I hope it gets fixed.
This is the first place I came to, and for a good reason, I love you guys.
I just got up, and didn't want to then. I'm sleeping and dreaming lots. Not eating much, but drinking coffee instead. It's not a good thing to do with my weather. We have hit 100, and seems to be going to stay there for awhile.
Think good thoughts for my computer.
