O.K. Howie, I feel better about you now that you are eating something.

      I agree I miss Rene's good humor.

Does anyone know of a way to contact renee? I've sent a PM a while ago but got no reply. I've tried to find her on Facebook using the name she gave me but I'm not finding that name except for people who definitely aren't the right person.

I notice that her last post and last log in were 3 months ago. I hope she hasn't been permanently discouraged.

Agate, I am more concerned about her health. She had obviously had some problems and been to the hospital a couple of times. Hope we hear from her.

(singing with the cats) Carry me back to ol' Virginia............. The last I remember, Renee was planning to travel all over the place. It would be nice to hear from her. I'm old. Old folks worry. That's what we do.

Someone carry Howie back please. I'm not sure Virginia appreciates being called old though...

Thank you for remembering that renee might be traveling. I was hoping someone would recall something like that because I thought I remembered it too.

I also think she said she is traveling in Europe! If she has no specific timetable, that could take awhile.

And here in the South, we say good ol' boy. That doesn't mean old, it just means ol'. If you don't understand, just have a sip of this Southern moonshine, and it will all be clear to you.....YEEEEEEEE HAW!!!

Actually, I am old with the d on the end, so it is okay!

                  Goodnight Howie!

Good morning Sally, I see you are up bright and early, bright eyed and bushy tailed. I'm up, but my eyes are still half shut, and we won't even talk about my tail.

I was up until 5am watching war movies. Then I'm up at 11, but won't feel normal until I have some of this coffee! RISE AND SHINE!!!

I may be using only this iPad for a while. Some computer problems need fixing.

Edited to add: For now the computer problems appear to be fixed.

These are stillstANNding's photos and captions--she asked me to post them:

ANN, about the Mobi Mat--it's plastic sheeting of some kind, or--? What is the blue? What a great idea to have wheelchair access possible! Wheelchairs just don't get along with sand.

I can't see them. They are just a small gray box, with an X in it.

The news today is FILLED with malware attacks on so many of the handheld devices. They are so popular and so many have them, they have become a target for hackers. What a shame!

Oops. I'm seeing them OK. I can't think why this is happening. I didn't use the iPad to transfer them. It all went smoothly even though I'm now using Windows 10.

If anyone else is not seeing the photos, I hope you'll let me know, and I'll redo them using Photobucket instead of a direct transfer.
