Sounds like a satisfying shopping trip, Virginia! Glad you were feeling well enough. Thanks to you and Joan for the catalogue names!

Joan, glad your house recertification is over for another year!

Howie, do you just attach the antennas to the tv? Both to one, or one for each tv? Which antennas did you buy? Why two?

Jeanie, very nice to share your mangoes, I'm surprised people actually ask you for them! I'll bet the food bank could use some too if you have extra.

I JUST woke up, not from a nap, but from last nights sleep!

The antennas are hooked into a "splitter" that now has 5 antennas hooked to it, then it is hooked into the TV where "ANTENNA" would normally hook to it.

I bought a 2 for 1 deal on the last antennas.

I just woke up, I need coffee!!!

Howie, no way will you sleep tonight. I think you did say you got confused last night and thought it was morning and took extra meds. Could that be the reason you slept all day?

I doubt it. The meds I double dosed were an AD, and BP meds. My pain med, one is 3 times a day, and the other I didn't take. I'm not sleeping some nights, so maybe I'm just catching up on sleep.

:) Andy came today to put out my trash and recycle. He cut up all the mangoes on the table and my freezer is almost full and there is no room for food. I went to a local appliance store and bought a small freezer for $200. so we can fill it up too and I can have mangoes for more of the year.

Andy is coming back tomorrow and pick more and cut up the ripe ones. The little freezer fit in the ramp van behind my scooter, so Andy can get it out tomorrow.

I ordered 3 solid tires for my little house scooter as the ones on there are 20 years old and worn through to the black layer. I will see if James can come down and put them on.

I took a Provigil this morning so I could go grocery shopping. After the appliance place I went to the grocery store and through the drive thru at KFC for a chicken pot pie.

The Provigil is several years old. 30 200 mg tablets back then were right at $500. I cut them into quarters and only use them when I have to go out and can't. It was 92 today but not so humid.

Jamie's Mother is moving to Colorado. Her adopted Mother and sister are there. She does not any longer have winter clothes. I told her to come over and get my coat and some sweaters that we rarely use here. Jeanie :)

                Early to rise,
                but never do sleep,
                makes one wonder,
Am I still on my feet?

See Vicky, it doesn't take much.

Howie, you're an example to us all.

Summer isn't over yet, at least not here. It will be 90' today and up in the 90s for the next few days.

But sunny days and leafy trees are nice. I appreciate summer more now that I can spend my time with air conditioning.

Here's part of my patio as of a few weeks ago. EDITED to change the photos. These are more recent.

Impatiens AKA busy Lizzie. The photo doesn't do them justice. I've been planning to take a better photo. There are 12 plants and every one of them has been blooming like a champion even though they got here so smashed up that I didn't think they had a chance.

A not very green thumb here. But I've kept trying over the years and have some idea what mail order places send out good stock. I've been living in places with north exposures by choice for years (cooler in summer, no glare) but there aren't a lot of blooming plants that do well in that much shade.

Impatiens is one of the few that are easy. Those flowers should keep on blooming until late November or whenever the first hard frost hits.

I'm finally at the library again it's time to go down stairs and look for some movies.

                            Here's some chit chat:
I filed for primary custody of DS3 on August 16, I also filed a restraining order against his father. I have to go to court on the 29 to finalize the restraining order. Hopefully the court will give me full custody of my son, especially since DS2 was going to try to take DS3 out of state without the proper legal paperwork.

Is your DS3 the 15 year old you mentioned a while back? DS2 must be quite a few years older if he's thinking of taking DS2 out of the state?

You must be going through a very stressful time. Legal battles are usually ultra-stressful. I hope you have good legal advice--good luck to you!

                              Fingers crossed for Jendie...
