Glad your foot is getting better!

You have a doctor's appointment on a Sunday?

No, Monday. I had just gotten up, and thought it was Sunday. DOH!!!

Thanks for straightening that out, Howie. I was wondering about a doctor seeing patients on a Sunday too but you never know.

The Neuro-Optho that DXed me opened up her closed office to give me the DX. She was a very caring doctor, rare these days!

I believe she's making those quick posts to let us know she is okay. A while back she shared that posting was difficult and someone(s) suggested she just write a couple of words so that we wouldn't worry about her.

:) The dog onesie I got at the fair has long sleeves for all four of Lacy's legs. She wore it all night and this morning and she can't scratch herself raw now. I am going to get another one and have one to wash and one to wear.

So far that is the best thing we have tried for her itching. Andy came at noon and we went to lunch. Then he took Lacy for a long walk. I am trying to get up the energy to go grocery shopping.

I have my 6 month Dr visit tomorrow at 1 PM. I am using the last of my RX's now so have to go. Jim is coming in the afternoon and may be here when I get home, but he has a key. He is doing something to my computer and putting up another camera our front to replace the not working one.

Speaking about news, I take the Sunday paper and occasionally watch local news but not lately. I do not want to see Trump's face all the time. Since he has a white house here at Mar-a-lago he is in the paper a lot. Still in the 80's here. We are supposed to get a front but it won't make it cold. Jeanie :)

                Tornado warnings

:) We are in a tornado warning area. The worst part with 70 mph winds and spawning huge tornadoes is due here about 3 AM. I live in a concrete block house and I am praying it stands up against the storm. Georgia already had tornadoes and deaths.

I did get to the grocery store. This front is only going to lower the temperature to 54 with 70's and 80's in the daytime. The TV is saying keep your weather alert by your bed so you can get the severe warning if it comes. I imagine I will be sound asleep and trusting God to keep me safe and I don't have any alert system.

Those of you in the storm path take care. Post tomorrow how you fared. Sally say hi please. Jeanie :)

                  Hope everything remains safe, Jeanie.

Can you leave a radio or a tv on low so you can hear an alert if it occurs?

Glad Lacy's onesie is helping her!

Jeanie, sounds like you have finally found something to help poor Lacy. Hope it continues to work. The temperature is so high there do you think it will be too hot for her.

Hello everyone. It's so quiet here, I was getting the creeps, so....

I see the doctor about my foot at 3 today. I don't know why, but I feel nervous. Too much coffee maybe. After today, I see the doctor again Friday unless we get everything done today. But I just talked to my sister, and she said don't count on it, doctors don't like to combine appointments like that.

Just dark and raining here right now. The cats and I are all piled on the bed. I have to fight off the urge to just curl up, and sleep with them.

                      Have a great day all.

Hi Sally, thinking about you sweet thing.

Well, I just got back from the doctor, and his DX was the same as mine, my ankle is broken. They took X-rays, and blood samples so I don't have to go back on Friday.

Now all I need is to fix me a meal! SAM, get your Chef's uniform on, you're cooking tonight!

                            No tornado damage here

:) I apologize for not getting back until now. Today went all out of whack. Jim and my grandson Matt came about 10:30 and I had just dressed for my doctor appointment at 1 PM. Jim worked on the cameras out front but could not get the broken one to work. He will get another on the web.

I had to leave for my appointment and when I called home they were gone. My ramp is still not working right so I went to the mobility place. They are ordering new remotes thinking that is the problem. It takes a week to get them.

Then I went to my mechanic since my horn and cruise control do not work. He told me it would probably run 400 to 600 dollars so I will put it off.

I had no damage but several tornadoes touched down around here. Some did a lot of damage and others just a few things. I could not sleep because the howling wind was bad. Lacy was shaking the whole time. I only went to sleep after 4 AM when it quieted down some. Winds were in excess of 80 mph in places.

I have been in Florida my whole life and been through many, many hurricanes but I don't recall any tornadoes before. Global warming? I hope we don't get anymore. I was waiting to hear a train to go into the hall, but I never heard one. Jeanie :)

Jeanie, I'm glad you weren't hit by the tornado--but poor Lacy! I was surprised when you mentioned a tornado because I'd never heard of that in Florida either. I just heard on the news that 15 people died in the tornado in south Georgia--what a shame.

Howie, so your ankle was broken? Did the doctor DO anything or have any advice about what you should be doing? Splint? Cast? Crutches?

Hope you'll heal up--and Sam should definitely be on the job, whipping up those Whisker Lickins for you.

You know, I'm really getting use to those Whisker Lickin's, even beg for them if Sam is too slow putting them in the bowl!

I only got a BIG Ace bandage to wrap around it. And stay off it as much as I can, so Sam is making all the meals for all of us for a while.
