Something very strange, and have never heard it happen before. There is a constant string of helicopters flying directly over my house, very low and VERY loud. All heading to the airfield not far from here.

There's one about every 5 minutes for the last 45 minutes. Did we go to war?

I did not go to war and have no plans to do so.

I looked at news online for your area and could not find any breaking news. There is a helicopter training school in the area and also helicopter tours.

I looked in the news too, and nothing. They have stopped now, but what I heard was military for sure. Maybe doing an exercise somewhere. I hardly ever hear a single plane, much less a string of helicopters.

Sam, you can take your helmet off now.

I knew Agate had something to do with it!

I would go out and just see what kind they are, but with today's heat, I would last about 10 seconds. Here comes another one! That's at least 20 so far!

I went to the front door, and another passed over, but I didn't step out being as I'm only wearing my boxers, but opened the storm door, and you could hear jet engines on it. That's military!

They might be doing some training for an air show on July 4?

There is a Whole Foods less than 5 min by car from my house. When I saw that Amazon was going to buy them out, I thought maybe I might be able to order my food from there. However, I am not crazy about Whole Foods selection of food. I wonder if they will change to a regular grocery store if this happens? It would be convenient if they did, but unless they change to regular food and come down on their prices I will not be ordering from them. I go in occasionally for a couple of things, but not often and do not do my weekly shopping there. They are much too expensive.

Jendie, glad to see you are hanging in there and at least keeping up with what is going on here. That is what I have been doing for about 10 days now. Time really does help. At the time you are going through this I know you don't think so, but it really does and that is about all that does.

I still have not been out of the house. It was a week ago this past Sunday. I am going to have to get to the grocery store. We were going out to eat (our regular family get together) this week end, but one brother has shingles. He is not in a lot of pain and does not have a bad case because he had the shot to help it. However, he saw his Doctor today and asked about being around me this coming week-end. The Doctor said the rest of the family was fine, but absolutely not me with MS. So I will staying home again this week-end.

Agate, they usually have an airshow most years here, but I don't think they could fit that many helicopters on this little airport. Maybe they were doing some exercise or something.

The AC has been going in this room all day, so I never heard if they landed here, or just kept going. I'm going to let Sam do a little snooping around tonight, and see what she can find out.

OH, not a word about my car today.

Howie, I think they have fallen in love with your car and are going to keep it. Maybe you should charge them a rental fee. If you were driving Pinky you might be going along, look over in the next lane and see your car go by. They are having a ball driving it. It has been so long since I drove mine that I am just hoping it will start alright. I haven't had any problems with that, but then it hasn't just set there this long without being started and run a little.

I do wish whatever the delay is, can be solved in a HURRY! I didn't call today, but wanted to. The paper I signed said the repair would take "a few days". Tomorrow makes almost 3 weeks they have had it. Give me my car back...NOW!!!

You have a copy of that paper, right? If you have to do something like this again I hope you won't let them use such vague terms. They could define that any way they want.
