I agree with Ann "we" are glad to get our car back - Howie, exactly how long did you let "our" car get away from "us"? Was it three weeks.? Got to have this information to give to neighbor.

Ah Virginia, been hanging out with Sam, haven't you? Wee means Yes in French, so wee, YOU can wax OUR car. Just to make it easy on you, the car is washed, I have several waxes, and lots of clean soft towels and rags.
What's really strange, I had a premonition that you were going to wax my car, and not only that, give Pinky some wax too. I also had a premonition all this was done while I was taking a loooong nap.
Who am I to go against a premonition?

Maybe I misunderstand this situation but is Pinky more or less decorative, and the other car is expected to get you some place? One is pretty, and the other is functional?
That being the case, I don't see much need for waxing either one of them. My guess is that Pinky looks all shiny and picture-perfect all the time.
If you wax the functional one, it will just get all dusty and grimy again in no time at all. And covered with cat hair.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

It was 100' here on Saturday and 101' yesterday. That's more than enough hot weather for me.
Today it was only about 80', much more to my liking, which is good because I had to be out at the hearing aid place.
There was supposed to be just one trip there this season, then another in several months, but it's turning into 3 trips. First they lacked the software for my type of aids, and now it turns out that one aid needs repair. So I have to go back in a couple of weeks to pick up the repaired aid, and in the meantime I can use my old one. I just laid out $400 for hearing aid maintenance for a year but that will include this repair.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Ouch! That's tres expensive, Agate. I hope you can hear everything you want to and nothing thst you don't.
Good morning, Mr. Howie. How was your supper?
It's 72 on the way to only 77 today. There is a 50% chance of rain. Beautiful. A gift of an MS day.

ALRIGHT Peg! You finally get the ball rolling. Being there by 7am is no problem for a farm girl. By then, you've been up at least a few hours.
I'm hoping it goes great for you Peg, and needless to say, we want a full report on how it went.

Peg, that's such good news! I've been hoping you'd come along with this news. I hope they'll make an effort to keep you comfortable. Will you have a long trip to get there?
stillstANNding, anything connected with hearing aids seems to be costly.

Peg, great - so glad to hear it is that close. I am sure you are excited and maybe slightly nervous at the same time. Early hour to have to be there, but I guess you can take a nap later.
Agate, that really is a lot of money to have to spend, but I understand what you are saying about saving your hearing and your eyesight. It really is not much choice if you can get the money anyway possible - at least that is my thinking about my eyes.
Howie, just keep watching and waiting for the car to get done. I'll be there eventually. First I have to do mine. It's only been 10 years, but like Agate said it will just get dirty again.Virginia

"It will just get dirty again". I think Agate and yourself have come up with a new reason I can use for not washing the car. Thanks!
I just signed up for online banking. Without MS, it would have been a breeze. For me, it took two days, much typing online, a few phone calls, but I FINALLY got it done. Right now, I have $10.20 to my name, and that's fine with me.
I have my food, Sam has her/my tuna, and I went to the store with my piggy bank change, and got some sleep med, enough to get me to payday, then we start the game all over again.
Ain't life grand!
