:) The last movie I saw in a theater was Little Miss Sunshine with David years ago. I do not watch movies and I only watch TV if I have the closed captioning on. I do not go to any animated movies as I can't lip read animation and they don't have captioning.

I watch some of the old shows on METV like I love Lucy, Columbo, Wonder Woman, The Love Boat, etc. All with captioning on. I also watch PBS a lot.

I do not know any of the new stars and few of the old ones. Most of the ones I knew are either retired or dead.

I just baked an Amy's Organic mushroom and olive pizza for lunch and it was good. Yesterday I had another organic pizza that was really good. It is Monteli organic spinach and broccoli pizza. It has no red sauce. I will buy it often.

I am still in my pajamas and plan to do nothing all day. I may even nap. Everyone have a good weekend. Jeanie :)

I am right there with you Jeanie. Just not doing much today. I might try to start a book, but then again I might fall asleep in my chair.

Howie, did you like him in "Top Gun"?

Top Gun for me was more about the planes, I love aircraft. But he played his role well. Things were a bit too relaxed, and fighter pilots are more serious.

I'm just getting up and having my coffee. I stayed up LATE watching movies on TV. I'm almost sleeping during the day, and watching TV at night. There's better programming on at night, and fewer ads.

Amy's has several types of frozen pizza. I've been buying the Amy's Margherita pizza lately. I didn't know about the mushroom and olive pizza until I read about it here (thanks, Jeannie!). Now I'll definitely try it.

No Howie, nothing going on between me and Tom. But if you would have said Sean Connery....well, that's a different story.. :) Except I think he's dead, now??

Connery is 87 and still very much alive.

It was Tom Cruise who jumped on Ellen's couch because he was excited about getting married. They've been divorced since 2001.

It's hard to keep up with Hollywood stars, and who's married and who's divorced, and who's gay and who's straight. I don't care when I'm watching a movie, and I concentrate on the star's character they are playing, and try to understand that.

And Sean Connery is a great actor, and was the best James Bond!

I ran out of beer last night. The grocery store is down the road a few miles, but it's 93 degrees right now. Plus the AC in the car needs to be recharged. I know of a place that does it, but I have to wait until payday.

So should I try the grocery store trip, or just wait until tomorrow? Of all things, I'm drinking hot coffee. Back here in my icebox room, it doesn't matter. But out in that 93 degree stuff, I might melt!

It depends on how important the beer is. IMHO, nothing is important enough to justify going out in 93' heat unless you can be absolutely sure of air conditioning all the way there and back, and it doesn't sound as if that's possible.

If you don't mind being out late and if the stores are still open, you could watch the thermometer and hope it cools down after the sun sets and go then.

On sunshiny days that are too hot, I can't get out and walk around outdoors but I can hope for a cool-down in the early evening. It doesn't always happen but sometimes it does.
