Peg is always so good about starting a new month for us!

The grandkids must love going to grandma's. Not every grandma has a horse to ride. Or home-cooked food.

We were planning to go to the condo in NH this morning but the rains are heavy and the wind horrific. We are seeing sustained winds of more than 50 mph so far today and we have little ponds all over the yard there has been so much rain. May go tomorrow when this calms only because David has a non-refundable ticket to ski Waterville Valley on Monday (we have to be home Tuesday afternoon).

Saw the neuro yesterday. He ordered the next round of Rituxan and is trying to get a bill through congress to allow patients and their doctors to decide on appropriate treatment rather than the insurance companies doing so. He is also finding that insurances are denying Rituxan now that Ocrevus (1/3 more costly) has been approved.

                Dang. Good for your doc!

                Strange how insurances practice medicine.

I was just going to ask if anyone is being blown away. I kind of figure Ann is. Cherie that is very high sustained winds. Hope no damage is done to houses. Even here it has been highly windy today. I have not checked to see what winds are, but I can just look out and see.

Nuthatch, I think there is snow somewhere out there, but never know if these things are close to you or Rose.

Cherie, I like your Doctor's thinking.

And here in central Wisconsin it has been a lovely day -- sunny, light breeze, 49 degrees an hour ago when I came in with the week's groceries. More like the end-of-March weather. There are still 3 weeks left in the month -- and we've had snows up through the beginning of April, so there's still time! -- but it feels like an early Spring, maybe!! And the Sandhill Cranes are back, and the Cooper's Hawks that have lived on our property for the 20 years that we've been here are calling out to each other. Baby Coopers in the works, I'm sure! :)

Virginia, I have a tin roof of this place, and it sounded like a few NBA teams were playing a game on my roof at times. I saw there were gusts of 60mph winds at times. I'll go out and look for damage tomorrow.

Today Howie's been spending money, probably, without noticing the wind.

The trees around here are most definitely showing signs of green. The weather isn't changing from rainy and windy. The other day a cat was walking along the fence for a very long time. Most cats don't attempt it, and the ones that do wobble and get down pretty fast. Raccoons on the other hand are excellent fence walkers and can parade along the entire length of this very long fence. This cat must have been partly raccoon for it stayed on it for at least 5 minutes--some kind of a record.

I'll bet Sam could handle that fence. She's stretched out on my leg, and no movement seems to bother her!
