Yes, a robot to clean the toilets and the oven, mop the floors, dust everything at least from my waist up....all those impossible things. Well, impossible for me..

Household hint: If you don't use your oven except for heating up frozen meals, it never needs cleaning. I wipe my oven down once a year but it's no longer dirty. Most of my life it's been a chore I did several times a year and involved much heavy-duty scraping and scouring and reaching.

Sometimes a frozen pizza is supposed to be set directly on the oven rack. I won't even do that. I always put aluminum foil under the pizza slice or set it on a pizza tin. Nothing is going to drip or ooze onto my clean oven.

Yes, homemade muffins and casseroles are great, but not having to clean the oven is greater now that I'm old.

I still do a lot of cooking and baking. I have a self-cleaning oven which works well for the really tough stuff.. but also really heats up the house, not to mention the smell of burning debris in the oven! I do the cleaning about 4 times a year, trying to avoid any really hot days...

I certainly was surprised when it turned out to be the end of April already! Maybe it's these 30-day months that throw a person off.
