I'm so glad that you went in early! Have you been able to eat since you got back from the procedure? I hope that you'll be able to get Orgain. It's so much healthier than Ensure or any other nutritional supplement made with chemicals. The chocolate is yummy!

Have you asked your physicians about MS gastroparesis or dysmotility? They would seem to be potential culprits.

May you have a peaceful night with restorative sleep.

ANN, gastroparesis is one of the possibilities found when looking up "early satiety."

If it's an MS thing, it just might not linger around, and that would be nice.

I've had "early satiety" on occasion but fortunately it never lasted long. Years ago after one of my very worst falls, I had it for several days afterwards--have no idea why. But it was very strange. I'd be eating dinner just fine and then suddenly it was as if everything just shut down. I didn't want to eat any more.

We asked every doctor we have seen about gastroparesis, including my PMD at my October 5th visit! That started all of these tests and admission. I do have an impressive list of things I do not have.

Never saw the dietician or GI as we didn’t get back until almost 4 PM.

Having a tea w saltines and cheddar w Peter. Waiting for pharmacy to send up Copaxone.

I’m a coffee drinker but have been drinking tea w milk and sugar since this got worse. Maybe 3 weeks. It’s soothing. And the problem predates the tea change.

My conference earlier this week was on diagnostic testing in older adults with CVD and it was stressed that we will not do caths on those who do not show actual laboratory signs of cardiac failure. Sorry you have had to deal with this. I still think, in this instance, that MS might be the culprit. Holding you.

Might also ask for a GAD65 blood test and antiphysin blood test to rule out Stiff Person Syndrome, can cause GI dysmotility, vomiting, muscle cramping anywhere on the body.

If nothing else is found, MS surely is the candidate.

I FINALLY got my phone recharged after that power outage. So I called my insurance co, got the information needed, then called the guy I had the accident with, and gave him the information he needed.

Whew, that was a busy morning, for me anyway. But I think I'm done with everything, and can put that behind me.

I've been alcohol free for awhile. I just stopped getting anything out of it to justify the cost. So I just stopped, no problem.

I'm going for my second mug of coffee, and watch this movie, or do something besides being a bed for Sam as she does her grooming on my lap. Everyone have a great day!

Car accident?

Yes, it was right after the power outage I had. It happened with my landlord. He was parked right across from my neighbor, and I tried to get through the gap between them, and my mirror scrapped his truck, leaving a black mark about 2 feet long. No damage to the Cruiser.

So now, it's all in the hands of the insurance co. I'm done with it.

Things have been mighty exciting for you lately, Howie! I wasn't aware that you'd had an accident on top of the power outage. Too bad it was the landlord's truck but it sounds as if everything is under control and the truck will look better than it looked before,
probably.

It ought to, anyway. I've heard about how much those paint-job repairs cost, and they are ridiculously pricey.

My insurance is paying the whole thing, so it costs me nothing.
