I'm home! TC came and got me this morning at 8:30, before the snow that was predicted for the day. Roads were a bit icey, but we made it home just fine and now I'm fully unpacked. Feels good to be back amongst the chaos that is my home! :) Furkids were happy to see me, both greeting me at the door, and then in/out of my lap a few times. And now I'm making a pot of chili for supper. TC pretty much ate whatever was edible in the refrigerator, and a bunch of frozen dinners, so I'm going to clean out the refrigerator now that it's empty, and then we'll go grocery shopping tomorrow...assuming the snow has stopped by then! :)

Anyway, it's good to be home...

I just got in from a store-bank run. No problems.

I have an appointment with my doc tomorrow to let her see how the BP meds are doing. It's still high. I'll also ask her why she stopped the Atenolol which is what started this whole BP mess to begin with.

      Everyone have a great evening.

Welcome home, Cat. Glad you get your own food today. And glad you are well enough to be there.

Howie, reading the tea leaves, it seems that you checked your BP and it was high. Very happy that you made an appointment right away. Thank you and Cherie for suggesting it. The hens will be very happy.

Cat, it is good to know that you will be sleeping in your own bed tonight, eating your own food, petting your cats and now TC is once again happy. I hope y'all get to go grocery shopping and restock tomorrow. Then you know you can be ready in case the snow hits hard.

Howie, Ann kind of said it all. You really are learning (with Cherie's help) from these hens!

My yard still has some snow, but my deck hasn't even started to melt. It was almost 50 degrees today and the snow just sits there. Can not get to my garbage can. If Laura had come she could have walked trash around the house, but I can't. I will tie the bags as best I can and leave them on the deck and hope nothing gets into them.

Agate, it says "Pixabay, no hotlinking" which I guess is what you are trying to do.

Funny--I've been having no problem seeing it but I tinkered a little and now I'm seeing two images--one of them a thumbnail. Maybe at least one of them will be visible.

Back from my doctor visit. It went very well. I got refills for all my meds, and got to know my doctor a little better. I like her. My BP was down to high normal. That's better than the last time when I went straight to the hospital to get it down.

So I dropped by the store to get enough to get me through the weekend. I even got a parking spot close to the entrance. All the electric carts were gone, so I used a push cart. But I only needed a few things (Sam needed turkey) so I'm in until Monday.

                                That was a good day!
