    Howie,
Please check and record your BP at least twice a day on the lowered dosage and when you are off of it to see if there is a negative impact. The doctor (and pharmacist) need this information moving forward.

Last night I skipped a Baclofen dose with neuro’s approval.Am now down to 90MG per day. So far, no spasms. Let’s see if the side effects dissipate a bit on this lower dose.

Unsure why I cannot finish breakfast the past week. I get nauseated halfway through. So strange. Its the same breakfast I always eat....mild dysphagia kicked up about 10 days ago...

Monday I see PCP re what to do about bladder dysfunction tips. Will also mention the nausea if time. It doesn’t happen any other time during the day, and am not losing weight.

Coping strategies are less effective the past week with increased mobility issues, going backwards in terms of being able to stay on feet as much.

Will see PCP this week to be sure that the UTI is not flaring up again, since this was what caused the flare up of SPS last time.

Readers with SPS , or MS, I am sure, will relate to the relentlessness of this disease and its attendant emotional and social consequences, which are as awful as the disease itself. Or almost as awful.

I don’t know how people without a spouse or family members around, cope with this.It is the only thing that keeps me keeping on.

This post fits right in with Sunshine's I guess. I was very tired and fatigued yesterday morning, by afternoon I had bad headache and chills. I am still feeling really bad and having chills. I had to cancel dinner date with family for tonight.

I did not tell my brother, but I am about out of Tylenol which is the only thing I can take to help with chills. I have one left. I need one right now, but I feel I have to save that one for tonight.

I did not want my brother driving for nearly an hour and a half round trip, plus he would have to stop to get the Tylenol, just because I forgot to get it. I seldom need it and I just don't remember to get any. But if he knew I was out he would do it.

This is the opposite of what Sunshine just posted.

Sunshine, sorry you are having more mobility issues. Your swimming has been so good I guess I just assumed you were still doing really well.

Virginia, can you call someone close by or from your book or meditation group? You remind me of my mom, she doesn’t want to “bother” any one.

            Drink extra fluids, please.

Do you think you’re coming down with the flu? Did you take your temperature? If it’s the flu, you have 48 hours to take Tamiflu in order to mitigate the symptoms

You have Instacart, right? Go to Instacart and find a store with Tylenol. Maybe order a couple of other things too. It will be delivered to your door, and you won't have to ask anyone to get it for you. It's times like these when Instacart is a blessing.

I hope you aren't coming down with a virus. If you aren't better by tomorrow, perhaps you should call your doctor.

Healing prayers to you and to all here ~

I am just wiped-out and very cold. I am hoping for a virus rather than the flu. I guess a virus would only last a couple of days. I am also very weak.

Ann, I have a neighbor who would go, but I am like your Mother I just don't want to call her. If there hasn't been a change by tomorrow I will call my brother or my neighbor. I am hoping it might be a 48 hour thing, if so I should start to recover tomorrow since I started to get sick yesterday.

Yes, I will force some water. I try to tell myself it is important, but when I am sick I really do not want it.

I was going to suggest InstaCart too. Not sure it's in your area, Virginia? Is there any online supermarket shopping arrangement? One I've heard of is Peapod, and I'm pretty sure there are others but not sure how fast they'll deliver.

I was just placing an InstaCart order and noticing that they'll apparently deliver on the same day, within hours.

I had thought of instacart and I might do that. There are a few things I had needed, but I can't remember what they were now.

Ah yes, that's always my situation too. If I haven't written a note to myself, I have to look around the place, open cabinets and see what is getting low or not there. Sometimes I run through a typical day in my head with a thought to what things I usually use (paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, toilet paper, Kleenex, etc., etc.), including meals I typically eat, and come up with all kinds of stuff I'm running out of.

The idea is to fill the shopping order so as to reach the minimum order that is required.

Virginia, your neighbor might HAVE Tylenol at home to bring you over a couple, most people keep them in their medicine cabinet. I think that's what was meant, not going to the store for you. I'm sure someone could just pop by with a few, that's no problem at all for someone close by.

                              The flu IS a virus!

See if they happen to have some neo citran too, if you're asking.

So sorry you and Sunshine are not doing well. Sending healing hugs!

Howie, I will pick on you when I am feeling better.

It is done. I ordered about $60.00 worth and got Tylenol, so I took the last one I had. I forgot to order anything to eat for tonight. They have a fresh made place in there where you can get all kind of things, but I didn't think to ask about that on line. The order is to come within two hours.

I called Panera to get some soup, but they have stopped delivery for tonight.
