So sorry you have to go through the hassle of dealing with the theft of your credit card #. You'd think banks would have better security by now.

Mom is not getting better. Not worse but not improving. I’ll talk to the nurse today to see what we can do to make anything better. She has lost her appetite as of yesterday. She’s miserable w the O2. I’ve been trying to get a humidifier for it but as Rose has often related, the wheels turn very slowly.

She is no longer interested in anything. I’m worried but there is nothing acute to fix. All I can do is be company.

On Sunday, my brother is coming for a week and I am going home. Then my niece is coming for a week.

I'm not a big pizza eater. I was just ordering to have a meal ready without much fuss. As for getting an older cat, it would have to be delivered. I don't go out any except to the grocery store, and the doctor.

Ann, so sorry you feel your Mother is not progressing faster. I hope this makes a turn around soon. I am wondering if a lot of it is the incontinence that you mentioned. That sounds very wearing and it would make a person very weary and tired. I hope some answers will be forthcoming soon.

Howie, it is 85 here - outside. Has not gotten that hot in the house yet. I am sure I will have to turn my A/C on later.

Well, I vacuumed today and mopped the kitchen and my bath. I also interviewed a lady about working for me. She was very wishy/washy about what times she could come and how much money she wanted, etc. I am not sure about this one. There will hopefully be others. She said she could tell my house was kept neat and clean and that the first time she would do a deep cleaning and then the next times not as much. We'll see.

She said do you live in this house by yourself? I thought, well it's not that big, actually small downstairs and I had told her she would not need to go upstairs.

My credit card has been compromised. I had about six or seven charges on it today that were not mine. So, it has had to be cancelled and another one will be issued. I am to get it tomorrow. The credit card company caught all but one charge. Always something happening. Whoever this was, was having a good time with my credit card today.

This has happened to us several times. Frustrating and often leads to friendly conversations with the bank personnel. “Were you purchasing things in Salt Lake City today?” I would say that I have never been in Utah and that always leads to a chat about being a farmer in New England. The new card arrives the next day.

It may Virginia. UPS is Federal, and Good Friday is considered a State holiday. I just looked at it online, and it's a jumbled up holiday. I'll keep looking.

Well, it's a sad day for me today. My $2.00 watch from Amazon, gave up the ghost, so I threw it in the trash. But I did get my money's worth.
