:) Sunshine I am wearing night depends with a long peri pad inside and that cushions my but. I also have some fat there to cushion. I also get up on the bed or into a chair frequently. So far I have not had a bed sore. A different pad might be the best bet. Jeanie :)

I awoke at 4 am with my ankle spasm turning my ankle >45 degrees counterclockwise. Thought It would break the bone if it went any further.
Then, 3 hours later, swam 1/2 mile in 25 minutes. ... still in w/c most of the time.

As Howie would say, “have a great day!” Sam, what are you DOING!”

Oh my, what a nasty spasm! I imagine this is really messing with your sleep.

Isn’t it crazy how a day can have such diverse aspects?

Sunshine, that spasm was truly a nasty one, which I don't have to tell you. You didn't say what you did for it. I agree with Ann, isn't this hard on your sleep time?

Congratulations on still, and once again, swimming 1/2 mile. You're like the Timex watch that just keeps on going. Please don't stop.

Its nasty. I learn not to leap up to stretch it: it’s how I fell.

So, for this one, I lay on my back knees bent and feet on the bed and pushed down on the offending angle. It settled into the position it was supposed to do and didn’t spasm back out. If it had. I would’ve taken Valium or Ativan for sure. My spasms all happen asleep, because during the day I can accommodate my body so I don’t trigger it as readily.

My sleep is a mess: Go to bed by 8 zonked out by meds, awaken 3x for med dosing...I feel tired but not sleepy. But the meds make me feel tired. So, its hard to know what’s what.

Sunshine, sorry this is happening. I know it must be a hard life for you and also difficult for DH to watch and not be able to do much to help. I am glad he is there for support.

Another spasm at 4 am. Swam 1/2 mile 25 minutes at 6:30am...resting. My foot feels like it has a concrete block on it, bladder hurts, legs feel like someone is scraping them raw...never without some hideous pain...

Sunshine, if DH rubbed some CBD lotion or oil on your feet and legs when they hurting do you think it would help? I hate to see you suffer so much.

I have tried MMJ topical lotion and it doesn’t help. ...
                              Thanks for the concern though.
