I am pretty rural. The closest more accessible pool is a half hour away

Today I may skip the swim in the lots of walking to the pool parking lot and freezing shower situation. I have a friend coming over to help pack up the house and want to be able to do that. The SPS is already going wild. I won’t die if I miss a couple of days of swimming.

Today I swam 1/2 mile in 30 minutes early in order to then see doc. An extra 20 steps due to no closer parking spot open, but still closer than the handicap spot. So far,so good.

Today I swam 1/2 mile in 30 minute in the public pool with the loud microphone and salsa type music going....and the freezing cold locker. A plus is that they had the better chair for handicap in the shower today....grateful!

I swam at house, 77.5 F pool, 80 air, sunny, in neoprene., 1/2 mile, 30 minute.
This move highlights how very impaired I am on land. DH reminds me, “You don’t have to pack. Your job is to take care of yourself.”

This morning I swam in my pool. The heat got it up to 84. I need help moving the light cover, its like bubble wrap, bit 40ft x 10ft. I gotta figure that out. DH can remove it, but I might not have help to pt it back on.

                  Was a real morale booster.

Tomorrow See neuro. Lots of questions.

Yesterday and today I swam 1/4 mile in my new pool. Working out the kinks to deal with the pool cover. The heater works very well. The electric bill will eventually give idea of the cost...

Great to be back swimming. Steps from my bathroom.

Swam 1/4 mile plus 40 ft today in 14 minutes. Still trying to figure out the cover so I wont have to have someone there to help, which is impossible several days per week.

TOday I swam just shy of 1/4 mile plus Lots of walking and pulling to remove, and then pull back on, the four panel pool cover. It was 60F and windy out, rained first 5 mins and then sunny (typical for Florida), with an 82.5F pool temperature. Total activity was 25 minutes. Swimming was @12 minutes.

Feeling good, and looking forward to regaining my CV health through swimming.

So far, on my feet ALOT today. And I think I figured out the ROHO cushion.

Today I swam 1/4 mile plus dragging off and pulling back in the cover. 49F air and 81F pool st 10:15 am. It was genius to put a hot shower insteps from the pool outside. Inthe cold air it’s a life saver. So far have swum daily four days in a row.

Today I swam 1/4 mile plus 93 yards plus take off and pull back the cover. 16 minutes of swimming. It was 53F outside and pool was cool at 79F . Will change the pump hours to see if it would be warmer tomorrow morning since the weather will be the same.

Then I foolishly was on my feet, arranging my desk area, putting away the wet gear, doing some kitchen stuff. Suddenly felt a shin twinge. Foolishly, I had stowed R2D2 about 20 feet away. Luckily I was able to reach it. So far so good...hoping to settle the legs down.
