Kat, sorry to hear you have so much trouble with swallowing. I can't know how bad that is but I can sure imagine what it would be like. Penny says the same thing - dust then sweep as you want the dirt going down. I have to say I am not particular about how the cleaning is done although there are some things I am particular about:). Penny is like your dad about saying sex. Both kids are grown up and yet Penny still gets on to me about saying the word when they might hear me. My point is they are adults and I don't flaunt it but I don't hide from them that I love Penny including a physical love. I would never saying anything about the particulars but I am not worried about them overhearing us say something about sex.
Today was a good day overall. I went out for breakfast, to the doctor for my injection and to get my scripts, then to the pharmacy. Come to think of it I skipped lunch but did fix dinner for me and Tyrel as Penny had a baby shower for a woman at work. Tyrel has been working on a month's worth of laundry this evening while I worked on organizing the wood shop. Penny painted the stairwell yesterday and it looks much brighter and nicer. Off to sleep, I hope.

Trying to pace myself with work. Wash is done. My dear SO said he would pick up supper/dinner so I didn't wear myself out. Wash day can be tiring, definitely brings out pain if it wasn't there already, at no. 7 now. Got some furniture polishing done. Wasn't just dust, time for good polish as most of our living room pieces are good wood inherited from my folks. Alll pics we have are on the credenza, took them down, cleaned them. Decided to keep them down as food might go there, plus a 2 1/2 yr old, Sam will be here, but he's always been well behaved as his oldest sister is constantly after him.....I'd like him to investigate, I'd like to show him things, just like I did with the girls, but they were older, understood more.
But she can't help it....we all shed, some more than others, thank goodness hers are black so you can see exactly where to go.....speaking of that, have to brush back of couch pillows as she lays on them, has a 'dip' or nooth carved out, that's for really curling up and great naps. She lays on the high back of other couch, has a great view of her surroundings in all directions. At least she got some sleep last night. When awake, turned fully on her back, legs splayed, wanted a tummy rub, which she got and fell asleep during. She has great trust in we humans. When SO comes home she's so happy that we're both in house, she starts running at her highest speed around furniture; it's laid out in perfect path for her, then may reverse. Loves to spar with socked feet while she lays on her back. Doesn't take much to wear out because of her asthma. Wish they made a CPAP for cats as she does snore, stop breathing. And bad dreams.....she's getting chased or something's after her.....she was about 6-7 mos. old when found, probably could tell us a story or two even at that age. Thrilled she found us.
Time to move on..........hugs and love to all of you. Hope you are all well, kat
........it's back only this time in his lung, size of marble. Had his blood work/scans yesterday showed the bad news; putting in port next Wednesday, chemo same day then every two wks on a Wednesday. In 4 months they'll determine if he needs surgery. I recall her telling me that after his first bout he went from Stage 3 to Stage 2 and I'd never heard of that. Just because they removed the cancer doesn't mean you drop a Stage...... I thought I've heard of procedure of 'seeding' a tumor so you don't need chemo/rads unless it has to be certain type tumor......googling time for grandma.
