I need to get a stylus for my tablet. The one I had got lost in moving to here from my previous place. Would it also work on a smartphone?

. No harm done if you try it out? I use separate ones--one for the smartphone, one for the iPad--but they look a lot alike. I had to buy several at a time and still have the package from when I bought a stylus for the iPad. It says on the package: "For touchscreens." To me that means all touchscreens--phones, tablets, etc.

I'm wondering whether it's worth forking out money for a smartphone. It's not something I'd use very often.

Some of them aren't so pricey particularly if you don't feel the need to have one of the newer 5G ones.

I'm glad I have a smartphone instead of just a cellphone because when I have to wait around for transportation, there's often absolutely nothing to do, and with the smartphone I can check e-mail, be online, play games, etc.--usually provided there is WiFi access where I am. When I don't have WiFi access, I can still do some things on the smartphone, even it it's just checking on some settings and tinkering with them.

Also there have been times when I didn't have power or the desktop was down, and that smartphone was a lifesaver. It enabled me to do just about anything I could do on the PC though at a snail's pace.

I'd just want one that's inexpensive , and easy to use.
