      Howie, who could forget that one, but I would not have remembered it word for word.

      Cat, hope the diagnosis turns out to be something they can get rid of and not MS. I know she is scared.

      Ann and Suze sorry about the cramps. I have had them and they are highly uncomfortable. Yoga got rid of them for me and I stay uneasy about the fact that I can no longer do it.

      Sally, enjoyed the fireworks. Those are the only ones I will see I am sure. Hope your arthritis gets better. I thought it was usually winter when it got worse. You don't have to type a lot, but just keep your zingers coming.

      Peg, thanks for telling me again what you are on. We will be waiting for the picture.

      Went to eat with my two brothers and their wives tonight, but I do not feel well. I really don't know why. I didn't sleep well last night and then kind of feel sick tonight. One brother and his wife are going to be at their beach condo next weekend, so we will not go out to eat. I guess I am in for awhile.

      Agate, I just don't feel like learning the metric system. My brain is so overloaded with unimportant things that there is no room for things that I need to learn. I don't want anything to take up any of my reading time.

      I am having e-mail problems and also all of a sudden my computer is slow. I may have to get someone in to work on it.

          Have you scanned for viruses? That could definitely do what you're describing.

            If she would just stay out of those naked men sites........ Just kidding Virginia. I have just the Windows Defender, and one other one, and so far I've been okay. But I refuse to BUY something to protect my computer. It would feel like I'm paying a ransom!

            One plus for me it the limited looking around. I only go a few places, so it's limited exposure.

            I got the notice that my new coffee maker has been shipped, and will be here Tuesday. Until then, I'm using this one pot mug. And today, I actually measured my mug, and it holds 2 cups, so it's not that huge! I need a new mug!

                Virginia, you know about clearing the cache? I often get really good results from doing that especially when it comes to speeding things up.

                I spend about $100 a year on Norton AntiVirus and always have done that. It's costly but I really depend on this computer. I do most shopping and most communication on it, and pay bills and do banking. If I need directions to somewhere, I use the computer.

                And this is from someone who wanted nothing to do with computers until about 20 years ago, long after everyone else was taking them for granted.

                  Free antivirus programs do exist you know. I use Panda and like it very much.

                            Special day today. Celebrating our 45th anniversary plus excitedly awaiting the birth of our second grandchild. He is due tomorrow. Very excited for our son and his wife!

                                Nuthatch, something else to look forward to. That is good news about new expected arrival. Really good picture of Tula and your daughter. Beautiful little girl, but seems like she was just born.

                                Agate and Vicky, I do not know how to do the things you two are talking about. Agate, I do all the same things you do on my computer and I am afraid I might make it worse.

                                Howie, hope you like your new coffee maker and please do get a bigger mug - only TWO cups at once - that must keep your running back and forth to fill.
