I bought a new coffee maker yesterday, and I hate it! It said it was a 5 cup unit, but I guess they've never seen MY coffee mug. It did fill it one time, but had room to spare.
So I just went on Amazon, and got a bigger one, like my old one. One button to push. I don't get the programmable kind. What's to program, give me some coffee!
I'm in for the day except to go check the mail later.
Well, I finished that first mug of coffee, now to set it all up again so I can have another mug! Darn micro brewer!

Agate & SuzEq, the tightness of my calves occured as I was walking. I added an extra 5mg to my night time Baclofen. I slept well but still have tight calves this AM.
Howie- get a smaller cup. Cheaper than a bigger pot. ;-)
When they talk about "cup size" with coffee pots, they're talking about 6oz.cups, the kind our elderly parents used, dainty, with saucers. Not mugs! Most mugs hold a minimum of 8 oz. I've got a couple that are a pint or more!
I liked the fireworks too, Sally, and plan to revisit your link on the actual 4th, to make up for some of the loudly annoying fireworks around here.
I've been amazed by how much some mugs hold too! It would be nice if they were marked as "8 oz." or "6 oz." or whatever they are. Stated in metric too of course.
In fact, if you're looking around for something to do and haven't already done this, try getting familiar with the metric system. We may have to before too long.
I haven't done this, of course, but it's on a back burner.
stillstANNding, I must be sounding like a broken record for physical therapy but do you think PT might help the calf pain? PT has helped me out of so many pain problems that it seems like a good resource for me. But your calf pain may be a kind that won't be helped at all by PT. I have a feeling you already know this but:
I'm doing something about my lower back pain. I'm getting a back brace IF it really gets here. NO ONE spoke very good English, and I got so tired of saying, "I'm sorry, could you say that again".
But I stuck with it, and Medicare is paying for it. So I'll see if it ever shows up. I think it would help at times, and you aren't supposed to wear it 24/7, so I'm a good candidate to use one.
The bad thing is, I might have to stop saying, ARGH!!! MY BACK!!!

Coincidentally, while reading it, my left leg got very tight and after a while it wanted to turn inward. Quickly I got into the coldest room in house. It took 20 minutes to ease up. It was so painful. And scary....Thought of you.
May be my own fault. I surfed early successfully. Then the crew treated for lunch at her house. The a/c must've been set at 82. I asked her to turn it down. She did but still too warm. I rubbed ice on myself. After an hour I abruptly left. The cold car was a relief. Cleaned up the gear in 88F weather. Came inside to a/c.
An hour later went out and hosed off a tarp. Came in. 30 minutes later got into trouble.
My own dam fault. As my mom would say, Dont be such a big shot!
BBS, as Clint Eastwood said, "A man has got to know his limitations" or in your case, a woman. Don't go past the point where you know it's going to require recovery time. Stop when you know you should stop, and all that recovery time will be your's to do something else.

Exactly. I gotta work on my Clint Eastwood accent :) should've left the lunch party as soon as I saw how hot it was, instead of being polite.....And shouldn't have hosed off the huge tarp in the heat.
“I know what you’re thinking. “Did he fire six shots or only five?” Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?”
Sorry, just practicing my Eastwood.
