Virginia, I pay attention to any material I read about how old people with MS are, and the oldest person with MS that I've found was 97.

And where has HOWIE been today?
SALLY!! People here are trying to get your attention.

You guys deserve some good weather! It must be getting to be spring or something!

Glad to hear your horse Gnat is still with you so you can ride. Nora is one lucky girl.

I've been having computer trouble. I had MSN mail, and it suddenly quit working. So I finally was able to get Gmail, and I hate it. I think I'm going to just dump it, and have no mail.

My brother and sister are the only email I get, but they can just call. I had so much information saved in mail, and lost every bit of it. I'll work out something to store info.

My sister is bringing me $ because I'm broke. A long story why, but I'll be okay until next payday. And no big bills next month thank goodness. I can get caught up on money.

          Hi to everyone, especially Sally.

But Howie, don't you need a valid e-mail address to be on message boards?

Gmail takes a little getting used to but it has some good features that many people like. One hard thing to get used to for me was realizing that instead of folders Gmail has "labels," but they're the same thing. If you never store any messages, this wouldn't matter to you, but I store quite a few of them.

Also, Gmail does a good job of making sure that the spam messages are sent directly to the Spam category, and so I don't have to see any spam unless I look into that category.

Gmail has just so much clutter around it. I didn't think I could get used to it. I'm thinking about just dumping everything on this computer, and starting fresh.

I chose a new one called EZI MAIL. That sounds perfect for me. SIMPLE!!! With clicking one button, it transferred everything from my old address to a new folder. I thought that was all lost.

And I use the same email address for myself, so every place still has the old outlook address are okay, it all gets diverted to the new email address.

My Sister just came by, and brought me money....and chocolate ice cream...and has the tiny tablet/phone, and emailed me at old address, and it came to the new place, and I got it. PERFECT!!! Better than I had hoped for.

Don't get too spoiled by the weather, peg. We've had lovely weather here too, and its supposed to be good through next Wednesday....and then a storm coming on Thursday, the temperature dropping to "normal" (it was 60 today; normal is in the high 20's)....and snow. Winter isn't over yet. March can come with a ton of snow...

Peg, amazing that Nora is already as tall as you and riding your horse.

All you people with Spring like weather must be celebrating, but since almost all of what I have had is either Spring or Summer I am not happy about our weather. Even our weather man said "and on and on and on and on" when talking about the warm weather.

:)I received letters from the DMV and all I need to do is get my doctor to fill out a form and the eye doctor to do the eye form and I can renew my license without taking the driving test again. Such a relief!

It is 90 degrees here and humid. We are supposed to be getting a front but I don't know why it is not here. I am tired of Summer weather.

Andy is coming to give Lacy a bath and to go to lunch and gas my van. I am so blessed to have him. Jeanie :)

I just dumped Chrome from my system. I never saw that it added anything to my online experience. Does anyone have Chrome, and can you tell me what it does?

I chose Chrome over Internet Explorer so long ago that I can't recall just why it seemed better but it did. I've been with Chrome ever since though a couple of times I had to use IE as well for some reason, briefly. You can have more than one browser going at the same time. I tried Firefox briefly but didn't like it. Again, I can't remember why.

Thanks Agate. I guess for the way I use a computer, IE works fine for me. I have lots of sites saved, like auto sites, but here and about 2 other places are the only ones I use constantly.

I could see it if you were a book keeper, or had a business, a computer is a "must have" to keep all your files organized. But for simple ol' Howie who fights change, I like my computer JUST like it is!

I use IE all the time because I like the news stories that come up on it.

I have Chrome and seldom use it, but it is just an icon sitting at the bottom of my computer, and occasionally if I can't find what I want on IE then I pull up Chrome. Until I want to use it I forget I have it.

Well, before going to bed I guess I will go play Agate's Christmas card for just a little while. Yes, Agate I am still knocking out those Christmas decorations. Thanks for keeping me from getting overly bored.
