Yesterday for about 10 hours, I had much trouble swallowing. Even water felt like it was slower going down. It worried me. I woke up today, problem is gone. Luckily. For now at least.

    There were no new meds.

I just finished off the last of my pasta I made the other day. That lasted really well. And it was better today than when first made because it has soaked into the pasta. And I had my usual slaw and milk with it.

As tired as I am from getting so little sleep last night, I am going to make an attempt at staying up until 10, then I will sleep like a rock!

Several looked kind of good, but some I had never heard of. Vicky, you always find interesting things.

                Virginia,

If you locate the kind of wheeled carrier that you're looking for, can you please post a link or pic?

I'm thinking of getting one too, and I'd love to see what you think works. Thanks.

Suze, I like the one I have, but the bag is just not always big enough. Of course I have had it so full that it was very heavy to pull. I have very little strength.

Mine has 3 wheels on each side and that allows it to roll up stairs when you pull it. I got it on amazon. Much bigger and I could not pull it when I had a lot in it. It gets heavy because I might have milk, juice and canned goods and lots of other things to buy the same week. These items are heavy when put in one pull cart. On lighter weeks it is fine. I just saw that a larger bag was advertised and it said it would hold more groceries. It might be easier to hold open and put the grocery bags in, I don't know.

Suze, I forgot to say, if you look them up mine is called a Trolly Dolly and is the one with 3 little wheels on each side.

Virginia, would this be it? My trusty shopping cart (couldn't exist without one) very nearly got replaced by one like this a couple of times, but each time I opted for the cart that held the most stuff. The carts that have bags must be great for protecting stuff from rain and snow but if you want to roll a lot of stuff around, they never seem to hold quite as much. Looks as if this one is set up to go upstairs, which my 4-wheeler could never do unless I stand backwards on each step and pull it up. Being able to move a shopping cart UP stairs is a huge advantage if stairs are involved.

Agate, that's not it. A Trolley Dolly is designed to climb stairs with ease. I've seen them advertised on TV, but if you put Trolley Dolly in the search on Amazon, they have many, of all types.

Thanks Vicky, mine looks a lot like the one in red on the second link you posted. I think it cost the same - $49.99, as best I can recall. I got a brown bag. Now they have a little larger bag which is good if you are sure you have enough strength to pull it once you fill it.

I just got back from a grocery store trip, and it's 93 degrees out! I usually go early before it gets hot, but sort of as an endurance test, I decided to go.

I got the ground turkey, and already have mushrooms, so this might be a batch of pasta even this picky bunch would like.

But not tonight. The kitchen has no AC, so the thought of cooking over a pot of boiling water didn't seem like a good idea. Maybe early tomorrow.

And I carried my groceries in without a cart. Just attached Trolley Dolly wheels to my shoes, and rolled right up the front steps.
