Ditto to what Howie said.
I look in on several MS boards that have existed for years, and all of them are far less active than they once were. People have found other places to hang out, particularly Facebook, I think.
Yesterday was a quiet day here as far as posts were concerned but once when I looked, there were 54 "guests" viewing.
I like the way this place is changing from a place where people who are new to MS come for information to a place where people who've had MS quite a while are talking about how we deal with it on an everyday basis--sharing practical information about ordinary activities.
Even tying a shoe is a challenge sometimes, and how we scrub our bathtubs or what foods are easy to fix--those are all major issues for us, and I think we're getting some benefit by sharing our thoughts and information here.
And of course, as always, it's a place where you can gripe about whatever is on your mind. When your real-life friends and family aren't there for you, this place is.
