BBS, hope you and your Sister have a good time while she is visiting.
Nephew did very well in the Championship Golf Tournament this week-end. He didn't win, but he played high enough to the top of the leaderboard the first 2 to 3 days that there was a possibility. Today he did well until the last 3 holes. All family and friends went to Charlotte, N.C. where it was being held this week-end. First time in a long time that he has played that close to home.
A neighbor called and she and I stayed on the phone for the last couple of holes last night after I got in. She had been watching it most of the afternoon. She called twice again today and we hung on the phone for a long time. We both feel guilty because we really don't want to see the other guys loose, but every time they are going to put we keep saying "don't make it". She says it is alright, that we have to do that because we are rooting for nephew. I think he finishes up the season in a few weeks. Then 2018 season will start in October.
I have appointment to get hair cut and colored tomorrow. Thursday I have Dr. Appointment, but will only get to see NP, so don't know why I am bothering to go.
Virginia, a while back I had a doctor but often saw the NP (or maybe it was a PA). Whoever it was, she knew more about my case than the doctor did. She was more on top of things.

It's finally cooled off around here. In fact, it's starting to feel like fall.
On Friday I had the bigger recertification interview--the one where all of the financial paperwork had to be in order. I'm still waiting for a couple of medical bill payments to be verified but otherwise it's all done.
Everything else was on hold until that recertification process ended. The final stage will be the signing of papers for another year, at which point my new rent rate will be figured.
I've been busy catching up on everything else all weekend. Dust is accumulating and plants could use some attention.
Peg, sorry to learn that new lesions were found on your spinal cord but maybe the Ocrevus will stop that kind of thing from continuing.
30 pints of smoked salsa sound really good! How many cans can Peg can since Peg can can cans?
We're lining up outside your door for salsa since you seem to have quite a bit of it.
