If you can afford Strong Women Stay Young, you might like it. Comes in paperback. Maybe Amazon sells it used?

BBS, I've never bought used on Amazon, but have seen it many times on things I'm looking at. Do the products look pretty close to new? Just curious, I've picked that up from living with cats my whole life.

They are just like they describe. It may say, "worn, torn cover" or "like new" or "written on" etc. so I haven't ever gotten disappointed yet.

I swam 25 minutes, 666 yards today. Really want to swim an extra five but DH says don't be a big shot. He is right!

BBS, congratulations, you are doing amazingly well.

Ann, thanks for reminding me that I did get dressed and I went to two drug stores yesterday before my brother came. Forgot about that.

All week I was read about local surfing adventures and was excited that I had a driver and a support team to surf today on a day forecasted for clean thigh to waist high waves.

It was better than predicted, occasional shoulder+ high waves rolled through. That first paddle out feels so delicious with the warm Florida ocean and the friendly lineup. The locals were pretty surfed out with the past week of excellent Maria waves. So, it was easy to score a wave.

I was able to surf long enough to catch 5 waves. Three were just okay, the last was small but fun. But, The 4th was amazing! It looked thigh high, so I paddled perfectly for it and came down the face for a nice left. "Hm" I thought, "that had quite a drop, maybe it was actually waist high." Somehow I ended up in a rip which ended the ride. So, It took a while to paddle to the beach to rest in the wheelchair.

When I clawed my way to the beach, a surf photographer came up and showed me on my wave. It was a head high wave! "I am back," I thought. "I can do the big waves now!"

My team is the real hero. A rag tag fleet of skilled and amazing locals who have my back. Without the team, surfing would no longer be possible.

Some people catch fish, BBS catches waves!
