Good job Peg! I imagine the freedom felt riding a horse. Is it that way?
In florida in the 1800s the cattle routinely died when the mosquitoes swarmed them... they entered the noses, whole breathing track and completely covered them. The swarm was so thick, that the cattle couldn’t help but breathe them in.
I read about this in Land Remebered by Patrick Smith. It is a wonderful and easy engaging read about Florida Before development
Tuesday was another PT visit. It was also a hot and very humid day. I felt poorly but couldn’t think why.
It was a day to retest my muscles. You’ll be pleased to know that I declined the re-do of the 6 minute walking test. I gave it my all the first time and I decided I wasn’t going to accept the “payback” from doing it again, just to check a box on a form.
I did work out on the total gym which is legs and gluts mostly. I did various exercises on the raised mat/table. I did balance work w a five inch stepper box and finally 8 minutes on the Nustep (works arms and legs at a difficulty of 6/10. I was hot and sweaty and grateful to get home.
And, at 4 PM, I found out why I felt so bad at the appointment. I had forgotten to take my AM meds! So nothing from 10 PM Monday until 4PM Tuesday.
I am getting stronger and we proved it withought the inane 6 minute walk test. ;-)

Today I only swam 11 minutes. I sensed an imminent spasm and cut it short. Swam later than usual, and had done some extra walking for errands. Lesson learned. Each step equals less time in pool...
