BP is staying in the 126/76 range since starting the Bystolic (it cost me $84.50 for a one month supply after insurance paid their part). Blood sugars are also normal now that the BP is down.

Jeanie, we still have Jamie in prayer and Andy for strength and freedom from worry about the bills or her.

It's mid 60s, sunny and breezy here today. Doesn't get much nicer!

This weekend is just like any other to me. Not doing any partying.
Just doing a lot of remembering and reminiscing about the Old Folks
gone and our Brave Soldiers gone but not forgotten.

DD and grands are attending a swimming party 2day at my SSon's home.
I'm glad it warmed up for them today. It's been pretty chilly for the past
week..low 70s This week should be in the low 80s with a few showers....
        Nice!

Wishing you all the best and better.
        Love, Sally

                I'd rather it was relaxing.

Hope everyone is having a good Memorial Day. Or Decoration Day, which is what my mother sometimes called it.

Peg, you must be excited about the scooter! Now you'll be driving around faster than a speeding bullet, herding the cows and the cats!

Peg, hope the scooter gives you freedom and a greater ability to explore your environment. You probably can't take your horse in too many inside places, so a scooter is the next best thing!

And congrats on your son's new hospital job...sounds like a really good one!

Cherie, happy to hear about your bp! Yippee!

Jeanie, sounds like your place must be looking pretty spiffy after all the home repairs that were done. Nice!

Howie, hope all is now quiet on the rodent front! One is enough!

Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day, with much thanks given to those who serve, protect and sacrifice.

Greetings from Brownlee Reservoir We are camping or as my daughter says "Glamping" meaning Glamor Camping. I like to camp I just don't like to be inconvenienced. So my motorhome works out ok. And if I cant drive my wife can, when school starts this fall, she will have 30 years driving a 40 foot school bus! And I am not allowed to get rowdy. After all these years of driving a bus she really has eyes in the back of her head.

We had a fast rip roaring ground twister here today. Too close for comfort.
About 5 miles from my back yard. No deaths and just a few minor injuries.
it sure did do a lot of property damage, tossing cars across the parking lots
and ripped off roofs and such. Scary stuff!!!!

WOW! Glad you're okay. I've never seen one, and that's just fine with me.

I have lived in tornado country. Right now I'm a bit north. Although we occasionally get them here, they are not as frequent as south of here. Anyway, I much prefer living in tornado country than hurricane country! At least in tornado country you CAN be 5 miles away and not experience anything more than thunderstorm or bad weather.with a hurricane the damage and destruction can go on for hours along miles of coast. I've experienced a hurricane too, by the way.

Tornadoes? Hurricanes? No thanks. Natural disasters where I'm from come in the form of heavy rains, land and/or rock slides, or earthquakes, but right now we're on the verge of drought. Our snow pack is about 7% of normal and that's where we usually get our summer water from.
