Now Joan, you should know, no matter what new clothes I get, under it ALL is a thong!

Not sure how I should know that but I'm not asking too many questions.

Well, Joan, you know what happens when you ASS U ME, don't you? Remember you're dealing with Howie!

I got my new jeans, and they're in the washer as I type.

It doesn't take much to turn us on these days, does it? LOL!

                    Love it, Joan!

Anyone here ever developed significant muscle atrophy as a result of a loss of nerve innervation to a body part?

I can't really say. Because of the gradual loss of balance, I can't be very active, so I'm definitely not as muscular as I once was. And that may also be the result of getting older, or at least part of it.

Do what you can, and most important, be happy!

:) Hi everyone. Today I pushed myself to dress and go get my nails done. Then I stopped by the nursing home where my friend Peggy is since today is her birthday. I was tired so I did not stay long. When I got to the front a white Nissan was parked on the stripes between my handicap space and the next one. There was no way I could get my ramp out.

The receptionist made three announcements and no one came. Finally the head nurse came and wrote down the license number and called a wrecker. Here in WPB parking on the stripes with or without a placard is a $250.00 fine. The nurse then looked in the sign in book as to who had signed in after me. It was a patient's husband who goes there twice a day and is hard of hearing. She rounded him up and cancelled the wrecker and he moved the car and I was able to leave. It took almost an hour.

I came straight home and rested. Tomprrow I think I will spend the day in bed and re coup some energy. Jeanie :)

Being disabled isn't for sissies, no doubt about it.

P.S. I'm guessing here: WPB = West Palm Beach?

I guess that's what it is--my lower back has been all shriveled for about 30 years now. There's also been some loss of sensation in that region.
