Along with all of you, I'm hoping that Renee is traveling, visiting, gardening, and enjoying herself. Her absence here is a reminder that everyone should connect privately with at least one member on the forum, and make sure that your loved one(s) know that you post here regularly, should something occur to prevent you from posting. Your loved one can contact your connection (or "forum buddy"), who can post on your behalf, or your loved one can post for you.

I often think of Gabriella and Abby and wish that someone in their circle would post here with their news, if they are unable to post.

Howie ~ that's quite the selfie of you and Sam and Seven! I always knew that Pinkie is a spaceship. I've watched all 3 Men in Black movies a hundred plus times with Jon. You can't fool me!

Rose, that's a great idea--having everyone give some contact info to at least one other person here. That has been urged in the past, but there are those who prefer not to share their contact info, I guess.

The moderators would have an e-mail address but they can't share it, I'm sure. I don't know if a moderator would be willing to send an e-mail to her, wondering if she's OK--? One problem with that is that then the moderators might feel they'd need to do that every time somebody is away for any length of time.

Still, renee has been on this board for at least 15 years. I can't recall any time when she's been gone this long.

I wish I knew of a way. I'll try again to find her on Facebook with the information she gave me a while back.

renee's birthday is coming up in about a week. I've sent a PM to her about it. She didn't reply to a previous PM I sent in July but this time I've checked that "Request a read receipt for this message" box and at least I'll know if she got the message, even if she's not up to replying.

not much happening here on our dirt road,, been making trips down to DM,, sister in law is real sick,, her auto immune system is really messed up plattletts aren't stabilized either,, now she has pneumonia..we don't see her getting better anytime soon,, she is 68,,

SILs can be like sisters. I loved the 3 SILs I had (4 in a way--one who died and brother later married again). They've all been people well worth knowing, and two are still alive and getting along OK. One just turned 90.
