Don't you love having good days? But if you're like me, you end up doing too much.
Yesterday, I fell into my DVD and CD stand. Not too much damage there, but on my way down, I grabbed a floor lamp I have with several shelves built into it, and trashed the bottom shelf supports.
So today, I took the bottom shelf and supports off, and now it sits on what used to be the second shelf from the bottom. It's shorter, but is as tall as the DVD, CD stand. I really like the look.
I'm sure I'll be tired and sore tomorrow, but it feels good to have done that little project today.
Everyone have a great day, and watch your step.

Well, I just spent an interesting afternoon. I read a book written by a former next door neighbor. She is in her 70s and is more like 50 in looks, thinking and acting. She had it published, so I bought it on Amazon. It is not something that I would have bought other than the fact that she wrote it. She is now living in Atlanta, but we remain e-mail and phone friends. She had sent me some of it about a year or more ago and asked that I read it and give suggestions. I did and one of those suggestions was incorporated into the book. Don't know if she would have done that anyway or not, but at that time she was not leaning in that direction. Made me feel good.Virginia

Linda, it is part history of her family, back to Great Grandmother (who had a colorful life) and on up through my friend. Some and she said in the look back, at the end that most was fictional. What I told her was to put more in about her life and when she balked a little, I told her to embellish it. Some places she did, other places was truth. She has had a very interesting and also like her Great Grandmother a very colorful life. She is extremely smart, and highly independent.
Some of my neighbors did not really "take" to her, but I think actually they were jealous. She has extremely loyal friends who care very much for her and travel to see her wherever she is. They are the ones who took the time to get to know her. Since she has left and some of my neighbors have made remarks I have told them how wrong they were about her. She actually is a very caring person and as someone who has MS I can tell you that for a fact. She use to tell me when I was not feeling well even if it was the middle of the night to call her. She is the only one who has gone that far. You just never know about people unless you take the time to really get to know them.Virginia

Yes, Friday the 13th comes on Friday this year!
You'll probably be OK if you just stay away from black cats and ladders and try not to break any mirrors.Last edited by agate; 11-13-2015, 12:12 PM.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

Seriously, everyone it has turned out to be a black day! As some of you may remember I had the privilege of living and working in France. Even though it was many years ago I have always loved it and considered that period among one of the happiest of my time. So Sad. Also, it was the French who gave us the "Statue of Liberty" which stands in our harbor in New York. My own personal thoughts have turned to wondering how many of the French people I worked with are still alive.
Sally, could use some of your humor right now. Hope you are alright and able to read us here on BT.Virginia
