So, the doctor did not get back to me directly, but did fax instructions to my visiting nurse: in bed until June 15, then up, no more than 30 minutes/ time, four times/day for one week, then up "as tolerated" after that. You can be sure that the first 30 minutes up, next Monday, will be spent ***in the shower**** , shampoo, soap, loofah sponge, scrubbing away......

Vicky, you can if you ask a moderator. Another way is to delete it in the message window and add a few words or emoticons, enough to meet the requirements, and repost it as an edited post.Originally posted by Frog42 View Post.................................................. ..............Bah. Cat, it's a long slow battle but you're winning it! Those 30 minutes 4 times a day will be a great treat, I'm sure. Enjoy the shower!SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

I know all that, Joan. I know also they have some reason for not allowing people to do it themselves. Oh well. Thanks.Originally posted by agate View PostVicky, you can if you ask a moderator. Cat, guess you can hold out for 7 more days considering how long you have already gone. I am kind of glad he is being cautious with you. After all, this thing has not been easy to heal and that's putting it mildly. Now be nice to Tom Cat this next week since he is still going to be feeding you and taking care of you - and that is in addition to four furcats.
Peg, last time you went shopping and this time you came home, cooked and then cleaned. What is the name of that infusion you are getting? It does sound like at long last you have hit on something that works for you. I am very happy. I know you have tried several routes to no avail, but maybe finally, with persistence, you have got the right thing for you.Virginia

No, you're not a Thread-Killer!Originally posted by Virginia View PostDID I TOTALLY KILL THIS THREAD!!! It hasn't moved since yesterday.
I got a call from MS Lifelines Nurse this morning (this is Rebif folks). She told me that I had been on Rebif 14 years today. I counted back and she was right.
People might have been waiting to find out what drug Peg is getting infused with. If my memory isn't too full of holes, I think it's Methotrexate infusions.
Congratulations on 14 years of Rebif! That's really great that you've stuck with it. I hope it keeps on doing what it's supposed to do for you.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

No Joan, I wasn't serious. I was writing my sister an email to answer what she had written to me, and BOOM. The computer went completely black. Next, I went in the bathroom, and BOOM, the light switch quit working. See a pattern emerging here?
I had stayed up all night, so I wasn't the sharpest marble on the table! Long story short, I fixed everything for $1 and a little of my time. Then I went to bed, and JUST got up. I still need to eat for the first time today, and TRY a normal bedtime tonight, but no promises!"Given the millions of billions of Earth-like planets, life elsewhere in the Universe without a doubt, does exist."
