I read about these cyber attacks that are going on. They are against certain internet servers. I'm with outlook.com which is owned by Microsoft which is always a target for anything happening online.

So some of you may be having trouble with certain sites. It's not because of the site, but who the site's server is, or your server is.

I'm having trouble posting this. Later gators!

I haven't noticed any problem in particular but then the sites mentioned aren't ones I typically go to except for the NY Times, and I didn't try that today because I've used up by free page views there until Nov. 1.

Jeanie, sorry about all the Dental work, however since Agate brought it up, Howie does do tooth extractions (without novacaine). He probably would work very cheap since his overhead is so low. In addition to no medicine, he uses his car plyers to pull them. Seriously, I do not envy you. I am going in early in November for checkup, and though I have not had any problems I do dread them even checking for any. Until they tell me everything is alright I will not rest easy. I hate that you are going to have all the expense plus going through this. Like Agate, my brother, who was younger had one pulled and it didn't show, but the Dentist told him he needed an implant. He could afford it, but just chose not to do it and says he really does not miss the tooth.

I know what you mean, Virginia. Once they start checking, they're apt to find something. And I've heard of dentists who fill cavities that don't really need filling. The clinic I was going to sometimes marked a tooth as "watch," meaning that they'd keep an eye on it because of some abnormality that was noted like a hairline crack that might cause trouble later on.

Some dentists go ahead and fill everything that looks remotely like a cavity.

I find clowns creepy, too. And those guys...the mutes....don't like them, either...can't bring up the name, those performers that do that "box" thing (among other stuff) as entertainment , as opposed to actual real people who cannot or choose not to talk. :)

Well, the Internet and my computer are back to normal. Weather was slow to load, so I uninstalled it, and got another. I'm all back to normal again.

I got up late today, but was sleeping so good. Even though I dreamed someone wrecked Pinky, but were going to have it fixed. What does a dream like that mean? VICKY, I heard you say it means I'm nuts!!!

I always thought it was just me who felt this way about clowns. Now I don't feel so weird.

I was still awake at two o'clock this morning. Just could not get to sleep. I heard something that sounded like something or someone running up on my porch. I took off my sleep mask and looked at the clock and it was 2:06. I got up and turned on the front porch light and went back to bed. Eventually, I did got to sleep for a little while, but not long. So glad I got food in yesterday and did errands so I could stay in today. I have had the heat on just a little today to take the chill out of the air. Tonight I might get to turn the gas logs on if the temperature drops a little lower. Love that!

Maybe you just didn't need the sleep, Virginia? Sounds as if you can spend today catching up on the missed sleep by staying all toasty warm indoors, and that's good.

There have been reports of creepy clowns where I live. I haven't seen one, but my 15 yr old told me that one of his classmates almost hit one with a car because it was in the middle of the street for no reason.

:) I went to bed at 5 AM last night. I got up at noon and gave Lacy her meds and back to bed. When I use the black out mask my body goes to sleep easily. About 6 things in the bedroom have red lights on them and it is not dark. Also my neighbors security lights facing my house are right across from my bedroom. There is a blind and lined drapes but those are really strong lights. I got up at 5 PM.

I don't care for clowns or magicians either. I could not believe that on America's got talent magicians made it to the finals.

I watch METV almost every day. The old shows are much better than todays. I usually watch SNL on Sat night but lately it has not been very good. I think when they lost some of the regulars who also wrote skits the downhill began.

I have not heard from my son Jim for over a week so I called his cell last night and he and Carla are at Epcot for a few days. They go fairly often. I saw it once but do not need to see it again.

I do not know why but my van door closed with the key remote and did not stop every four inches. I have not tried to make it kneel but I would be okay with how it is working now. I do not want to pay the rest of the 1500. I think God fixed it for me.

We are supposed to go into the sixties tonight, FINALLY. I wish it would stay low. I remember many Christmases when we were still mowing the grass and running the AC.
