Hi Nuthatch, Joan! I just love the pictures. I was so busy looking at the little ones and their cute costumes that I had to go back and look at the tattoo. I was like Agate I missed it. I did think what a good looking family you have. Your son doesn't look like it is cold there. I am with Ann on missing the tells of all the little animals you have around your place. It always sounded so picturesque. It would be nice to live in a place like that.
The turtle outfit is really cute. I know you are crazy about these two Grands!
Howie, so glad you got to the store and made all your rounds and remembered everything. Don't know how you exist on just coffee even if only for a few hours. Me - I want some food!!!
I STILL haven't eaten. I went to sleep. A few hours I guess, but having not slept last night, I still have a ways to go to catch up. But I need to eat. SAM, whip us up something to eat, and don't just make it a pile of cheese!

No, I was so tired, I didn't even think about it. It was 79 today, a little too warm for me. That's why I try to do any running around as early as I can. But this seems like the last hot day IF the forecast is close to accurate. Hey, it could happen!
:) Hi Nuthatch glad to see you back. You do have a good looking family. When David asked me to marry him I could not because I needed the alimony to eat. So I got his last name tattoed on my left wrist under my watchband. It hurt awful and I was sorry as soon as he started. Five letters about 1/4 inch high was about $75. A whole upper arm is probably in the hundreds but hours of painful sticks.
I went to the dentist today to start my work. I was in the chair 3 and a half hours. I stopped for the RX's and already was in pain and still partly numb. She had a hard time getting out the broken tooth. Many tries and my jaws are sore from being open so long. Also a lot of stuff went down my throat. They look alright but hurt awful and I took the pain pill at 7 and it is supposed to last 6 hours. It has only taken the edge off not relieved the pain.
I am so uncomfortable that I am not sure if I would have done it if I could have avoided it. I have to save my teeth since I do not want the bone grinding surgery that would be required if I lost the bottom teeth. The temp caps on the front teeth that had broken off pieces will be replaced on the 14th. I sure hope this was the only painful visit.
They used the drill with water and water landed all over my face and ran down my neck to my back. Also some went in my eyes so I asked for some glasses, They were wearing surgical masks and a clear platic face shield. Because of the bony tumors the thing supposed to remove saliva did not work well and I swallowed a lot of times. I am glad this part is all behind me.
Jeanie, that was a bad visit to the Dentist. To begin with three and a half hours is just too long to stay in a Dentist chair. I am just not sure I could do that. Then all the drilling, and the being so uncomfortable with everything including water all over you, it is just too much. Do you have to go back or did this finish you up for now? I hope you are through for now. I also hope you get some rest tonight. Maybe with the pain pills you will.
Ann, I know you are in Red Sox country, but surely you were glad when the Cubs won last night, especially since they were not playing your team. I think after waiting 108 years for a win, it was just about time.
I don't think I will give any tootsie rolls away. Every time I pass that cabinet I grab one, so I am eating 4 to 6 per day. It is the mini ones.
Virginia, A former manager of the Red Sox, Terry Francona, is the manager for Cleveland and I liked him. OTOH, I have family in Illinois. I ended up rooting for Cleaveland.
Howie, eat a turkey and cheese sandwich. You need some protein.
Did you know I never ate yesterday? But just to change that cycle, I had some Vanilla Wafers with my coffee this morning. And I WILL eat today! Promise!
I was up at 5:30. I think I must have finally gotten caught up on my sleep. It rained very lightly, but will dry out when the sun comes up. I opened the box with the car cover in it, and it was in a thick plastic that had been shrink wrapped.
With all the air removed for the inside, it's hard as a rock. I've never seen that on a nonfood item. Maybe there's a Tootsie Roll in the middle!
Friday is here, like it or not. Everyone have a great day!
