Just don't even think about feeding her any of the cat food.

I thought about it, but they told me NOT to even think about it, so....

All you mother hens can stop worrying about me. I just ate a real meal like I usually do, and even had more Vanilla Wafers for dessert. And for my dessert for dessert, I'm going to have a cold beer. Then it could very well be naptime.

I don't see any mother hens worrying about you.

I see some people concerned that your chickens may come home to roost some day.

But if I had said..."you kind and concerned, caring people" they would think someone had kidnapped poor Howie, and was trying to take his place!

Maybe good news.....the pressure sore is not anything more than a reddish patch, level skin. I go back to the wound clinic on Tuesday -- maybe that will be the last visit...

            Until the next time.

Don't forget to VOTE on Tuesday, if you haven't already done so (I did, a month ago, via absentee ballot). I remember a poster in the League of Women Voters offices 40 years ago. It depicted a bunch of immigrants landing at Ellis Island. The caption was, "They traveled 2000 miles for the right to vote. How far away is YOUR polling place??"
...I am not a doctor nor medical professional, and don't pretend to be one, here... :o

That is such potentially good news about that skin problem, Cat! Let's hope it isn't another pressure sore.

I mailed in my ballot already. There were 16 initiatives on that ballot but that is par for the course out here in the west.

If you're voting my way, vote early and often!

Howie, you had one meal today, now be sure to eat another. Bet you feed the cats better than yourself. See another HEN getting after you.

I transferred some money on Monday in order to go get some glasses made with my new prescription and I have not felt like going all week. Had planned to go yesterday and just put it off until today and then did not sleep much last night. Maybe one of these days I will get them.

Thanks, Virginia. It's totally beyond human understanding.

Stop talking about me. Baseball is over. Now let's talk about football. How about those Patriots? (with a shout out to Matthew's Mom)

Howie, your brain needs protein. Invest in a dozen eggs. Many easy ways to prepare or just boil them up.

                        Cat, very happy for you.

Peg, I am sorry you had to turn in your driver's license. Sad. I imagine that you can still drive on the farm.

                        Everyone else, vote, vote, vote!!

                        ann - still tired

I've heard that, but have a hard time shoving eggs in my ears to feed my brain.....

Is there any other way to vote than your way?!

Obviously. I can tell the poor thing is starving!
