Steamed mopped the kitchen, and two downstairs bathroom floors. Cleaned the glass coffee table - top and bottom, cleaned the glass decorative dressing table in bedroom. Then I vacuumed the downstairs for 45 minutes. It took me an hour to vacuum the same space last week, so guess I didn't do quite as good a job today.

Virginia, since your body isn't telling you, let me be the one to say: you have done too much!

I went out and started to shovel the porch and steps. The massive snow we got is light but it is so deep that it is very hard to move. I cleared a small path for my dog to go outside....she was grateful!
It is still snowing lightly and the wind is huge. I wish I had my usual energy to go back out again...

I wake up with energy but by midday it is gone.....I guess I will have to wait until morning to tackle this again.

You went out and started to WHAT? Please let Virginia be your role model:

Shoveling snow is hard! Of course I am remembering that from my past since we have not had any this year. Linda, surely you can find something to do this afternoon while relaxing with hubby.

Here's the problem with finding something else to do. I bought a large container of chunky peanut butter. And I have a spoon. If I cannot shovel snow I will end up shoveling peanut butter!

                  Hm. Tough choice.

Today was IVIG so I take the day off of exercise. Too bad too since it's 84 degrees outside today, would've been perfect for a swim.

Your snow is very good for local economy In Florida!

Linda, I'm guilty of the spoon and the peanut butter adventures. It's not really terrible for you. I've read it's like taking a multi-vitamin it has so many nutrients and vitamins in it. It's only because of the fat content you have to restrain yourself.

Restraint, restraining myself, being restrained....in order for me to do any restraining at all I would have had to start restraining when I put my hands on the oversized jar of Super Chunky peanut butte on the grocery store shelf. Once it was in my hands...all was lost.

I met up with a bunch of surf buddies . Waves were head high, too big for my asthma and MS so I caught whitewater instead, after about 20 minutes .....cut it short due to MS rapidly weakening legs and feet. But it sure was fun. Live to surf another day...tomorrow looks better for injured MS surfers, def doable.

Seven flights of stairs yesterday while doing laundry.

Five flights of stairs so far today here and at MIL's. Also walking around 6 stores (including TJ's and 2 different Whole Foods) and a bagel sandwich place.

MIl is the same age as my mom, 91, and she insists on grabbing my arm and pulling down as we walk. I keep telling her and my husband that she should walk with him. I am not stable enough to prevent her from failing.

I fell up the steps to the second floor at home one night last week. She can not count on me to save her. She just does not get it!

Ann, Peter should take over here - he understands. That is a tremendous amount of walking yesterday and today and an awful lot of stairs.

BBS, tomorrow is going to be downright hot here possibly in the 80s. This is killing me.

Oops I forgot - I did work my brain a little bit today. I have been getting my taxes together a little along. So today I went into the Federal and State sites and typed them on their forms. I also did labels for envelopes to send them off. Took a little while, but glad to know they are that far along. All 1099s were in so I started working about a week ago. Now I need to get some postage stamps and I will be set.

ANN, falling on stairs isn't good. No falling is good. Is there a way to avoid some of the stair-climbing? Or do you feel you need the exercise?

IMO, your mother may need to put up with someone else as her support. You may look stable but you know better, I'm sure.
