Three airports! Can't a person get hold of one of those airport wheelchairs any more?

I swam 700 yards today, so far no MS flare.

Still standing, I dreamed of you swooping down and rescuing your friend. We are all there with you.

            Thank you all.

Todays exercise was walking up stairs and a hill to the hospital above the guest house. Then miles of corridors to ICU, family room and two trips to the cafeteria. Then down the hill and steps back to guest house.

We found out that there is a courtesy van that will take us anywhere w in 3 miles. :-) So less exercise tonight.

Thinking of you today. Interesting that the PML load was reduced. I hope I got that right.

Nice job. Corridor walking is no picnic, but can help you keep stress lower as you do battle for your friend.

I went out with my crew this morning. We were greeted by waist high, some shoulder high, semi clean waves with only about a dozen dudes on it. You gotta love bright sunny Florida mornings with zero breeze and 72 F water.

It was harder to paddle out than it looked, and I kept getting pushed back to the shore, but even that's fun if you're patient and stay in the moment. The water was alive with blue fish or jack and a few spinner sharks for entertainment.

Finally, there was a good lull and I made it out to the lineup. This waist high came right to me and the drop felt great. As most of us here will appreciate, the body can be such a traitor, and it ****ed me over. My whole left leg seizeed up and twisted around in a spasm, then the right foot seized up-- WTF! so I ended up pitched off the side of the board. That ended the sesh, and it was painful and scary to paddle in for a while..... But I still have that magical feeling of the drop to carry me through until tomorrow mornings surf adventure.

I only got in one hour, but, whatayougonnado? It's the anxiety that's worse than the pain. Not knowing if and when it will stop. If you will drown....the waves are so noisy, my crew couldn't hear me shout...I was on my own.

Bbs, I love reading about your surfing. Sorry, about your legs.

Today is reverse airports walking. We have arrived in Atlanta. Too much walking here! Flight to Boston next.
                      I'll be here late tomorrow.

I always loved the Atlanta airport. Go to terminal E and there is a great sushi place called One Flew South.

if you have a long layover, rest in Terminsl F. It's always empty with comfy chairs.

BBS, I became the opposite when MS struck. I had a hard time making it from one terminal to the next in Atlanta, early on when I was still walking, and it freaked me out.

We labded in the B concourse and walked and took the very steep escaltors to the tran to go to the C concourse. Too much walking and sub-par food.

Home at last and in bed w the 2 cats.

I've been in the Atlanta airport but have no memory of it except that it was called Hartsfield. This was back around 1973, when I went to visit an aunt who lived there.

It's probably had a few makeovers since then!

Me and two buddies surfed the morning. Another special surf sesh. The waves were small, knee to thigh, and the water was clean, very clear. It was cloudy with no wind, creating some beautiful lighting, silvery with silvery-turquoise water. You could see the bottom like a swimming pool. I fact, there was a thick light brown 12' snake that cruised under my board-- rarely see something like that. Only saw one shark leap up and he was near one of the SUP guys.

We had hoped to see the rocket launch, either it was too cloudy or it was scrubbed.

Caught several fun rides. My favorite had some nice floaty bumps to it.

Surfing has changed so much since this MS attack. So much. Am glad I can do what am able to do though.
