:) I am using my big van scooter which has a soft seat. I alternate between bed and the scooter. I can make sandwiches, etc.

Cherie i will call the MSF, thanks. I am tired a lot yet and so I rest when I need to. Jeanie :)

Chigger treatment sounds like the way I battled warts when I was young, with clear nail polish.

Did that work on the warts, jendie?

I've heard of quite a lot of different ways to get rid of warts but don't know how well any of them work.

                  I am thinking now...
We should start a Haiku Thread
                  Like we did before.

It seemed to work for me, depriving the wart of oxygen... or was it just wishful thinking? <shrug>

Went on my usual rounds today, nails are done, went to pharmacy and then to grocery store.

Had a funny thing happen in the nail salon. There was a lady there that I have run into for a number of years, she is very good looking and very outgoing and friendly. She is married to a lawyer and she is an accountant. Her Mother died two or three years ago and she is an only child, very, very devoted to her Father. I had realized this from prior conversations. So today she was sitting to one side and told me to go ahead and sit at our nail person's station. We exchanged some chit/chat as my nails were being worked on for just a few minutes.

Then all of a sudden she said something like "Virginia, would you be interested in meeting my Father?" I was kind of struck dumb, but I thought quick and I said Laurie, I am older than your Father would be. "Oh no your not. My Father is 77". So, I thought quickly and said I remembered her telling me about going for walks with her Father and I told her that I could not even do that. She said "Can you go eat dinner?" Can you go to a movie?" Well, yes, but I often do not feel well, Laurie. I told her how flattered I was, and that I realized what a compliment that was coming from her and the way she felt about her Father. She gave me her business card and wrote her home phone number on back and told me to think about it and call her.

After she left the lady who does my nails said she had asked her did she know any really nice widows that she could introduce her Father to for friendship. The nail lady told her that the only one she knew that she would really feel comfortable recommending was Virginia. She said Laurie said Oh, yes why wasn't I thinking about her. She is someone I would want him to meet. So, she was sitting there waiting for me.

I told Kathy after she left that her Father should try church. A lot of widows go to church. Kathy said she had mentioned that to Laurie and she said her Father did not like any of them at their church. I suspicion that he is not giving them a chance and is maybe not getting to know them.

Anyway, a different type of afternoon.
