Good for you :) I doubt you're lazy. You just have big obstacles making it very very difficult.Originally posted by Parsi View PostI tend to be non-moving. But today we (hubby and I) walked 14 blocks doing a couple of errands. I need to get into the habit of walking. But in Tehran it's rather daunting. Our building is on the bottom of a depression. To get to either corner its uphill. Eyeballing it, I say the difference in height is 2 flights of stairs. If I did it nearly every day, I think I could attempt the next block which is almost flat. Then work up to block after block. It's about a mile to the German church to which I used to walk.
In Wisconsin its all flat in our neighborhood. But I'm too lazy to go out.
When I have to walk up an incline. Sometimes I do it side stepping. I keep my feet pointed to the side instead of uphill. Like when you side step up a mountain on skis. I step to the side with the uphill left foot. Then bring the right foot up to match the left foot. Over and over. It's hard to describe. But often I cannot walk up an incline the normal way. A slight incline can look like a mountain.

We surfed today. We also got to spend some time with that woman with MSwho walks the beach, which was very nice. The waves were fun and not threatening, about knee to thigh high Nd pretty clean until the tide dropped and the wind shifted.
There is a surfer, very nice guy, whose brother sells CBD oil from hemp. His relative uses it for cancer pain. He said it does not make you high. He said it is legal. He wants to bring me a sample, so sweet, I will clear it with my neuro before I try it. If it helps with neuropathy and spasticity with minimal side effects, that would be great.

I wish I knew how to get the CBD oil. I take multiple pain meds, and would love to lighten the load by eliminating some, if not all the pain meds.Last edited by Howie; 01-22-2017, 10:02 AM."Given the millions of billions of Earth-like planets, life elsewhere in the Universe without a doubt, does exist."

Howie, did you look at the CannaTalks forum that was set up right here at BrainTalk? It might have some information about the oil though it may not tell you how to get it.Last edited by agate; 01-22-2017, 10:43 AM.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. I'm not sure, Virginia, but I think that CBD oil is the same as cannabidiol, which is an essential oil. You don't smoke it, and it doesn't give you any high but it has the medicinal properties of marijuana. It's marketed in Canada as Sativex, I think. Sativex is an oromucosal spray.
