True confessions time. I didn't get up until 4pm today. Isn't Sunday to day of rest? Well, I did what I was commanded to do, Amen.

I think it was BBS who came up with that original recipe Howie, so I guess she is having you for dinner tonight.

Oh good! Maybe we can go surfing after dinner!

If you want to get invited to dinner, be a man. Just look at this! He's already had two dinner invitations.

Well, the one from BBS was Virginia's idea but of course BBS would have invited him if Virginia hadn't got there first.

Howie, I think Peg's invitation is the best. She says you can catch your on steak. I don't understand how you catch the steak, but if anyone knows its Peg, and she can explain it to you when you get there.

I bet I end up having bad dreams thinking about having to catch that steer and butchering it just to get a steak. Those farm folks sure work hard to make a meal!

Rounding up those sacred cows is a pretty tough job, I'm betting. Maybe just one would be needed for Howie's steak, and if he can catch that one, guess he's ready for the next step.

Howie, what is showing in your avatar photo now? I haven't the faintest idea what that is. An aircraft of some kind?

What's the matter, can't you cheat and find out what it is?

That is the SR-71. It's a spy plane that can read your license plate from 80,000 feet up. It carries no rockets or guns for protection because can out fly any other aircraft on earth. If they detect a rocket being fired at them, they just move the throttle to a little faster.

It's known as the Blackbird because they are all black. My favorite aircraft.

I am having the house painted, gutters improved, and they found old (fingers crossed) termite damage under a board. Looks like I'll need at least a new sill. Then, the contractor I called did not come. We waited all weekend. He messaged me both days that he would come. Did not.

Now Jose is coming Wednesday. Carp! Husband going to Seattle Friday. I keep reminding myself that I have a house to sleep in and food, etc.

Howie, you're right. I could have found out about the image. Laziness and time pressure got in the way. You're right too about its being all black though I'd have said it looked silver also:
