That's a shame, 23 years old. It says it MAY have been at fault, but they didn't know yet. I'm totally against the technology, and Pinky is too.

Well, I cut my sleep time down from 20 hours two nights ago, to only 10 last night. Most people strive for an 8 hour sleep because less isn't enough. But I strive for 8 hours because I get too much sleep. I'll get it straight soon......I hope!

I need to change up the Baclofen (lioresal) because I sleep 10 hours or more. I am only taking 25 mg. Five in the morning, 10mg in the afternoon and 10 at bedtime. It's less than the usual starting dose of 30mg (10mg 3 x a day). I'm not sure what to do. I really need more at bedtime but I need to get up and have a morning life!

See, you are starting a new MS med, and I've not started ANYTHING. I went through a time I didn't sleep for days, and now this. I like a good mystery, but not this kind.

I'll eat in a little bit, and that's what started it the last few days. Even my diet hasn't changed, nothing!

The WM was my Grandmother's.

Hi Sally! We had a ringer washer for my first 10 years. Then we got Westinghouse Twins. The dryer played "How dry I am" when it was finished!

Howie, it's not a new med. I have been on it at least 3 years. I just can't advance to a higher dose. I'm guessing I need a different med.

OH! Then I would let your Neuro or doctor know what's going on, and you want to try a different med. If you have been on it that long, you may have to get off it in steps. Sometimes, they can just change over with no problems.

ADs were so hard for me to find one I could live with. All of those ended up with me just switching over to a new one until we found one that worked, and made me feel normal, and not a sleepyhead.

I hope you can get things sorted out.

One beer to go, and I'm pretty close to my normal sleep times. I hope it will stay. Too much, or too little sleep is the pits.

I watched "Pretty Baby" I think it was called. Hillary Swank and Clint Eastwood. A good film, but sad. I had seen it before, but thanks to MS, didn't remember most of it.

Went to see my Neuro on Thursday, a six month visit required since I'm using tecfidera. I haven't gotten back the blood results yet, but got some good news. Since my last visit with her I'd had the butt-flap surgery followed by two months immobilized in bed...Yet she found me stronger and neurological in better shape than before! So the physical therapy I've been doing seemingly is paying off. I couldn't recount any particular issues directly MS related-- everything going on with me right now is the weakness...so she was quite pleased.

I go to my primary on Monday for a pre-surgery checkup, then next Monday go in for day surgery --a repeat of the botox shots in my bladder. Then I'll be going to outpatient physical therapy two days a week to a clinic in a nearby hospital.

So maybe there is some light at the end of this tunnel, after all....

Good morning all. A normal nights sleep, and I'm having my usual mug of coffee. I switched to a powdered French Vanilla creamer. It's much cheaper, and tastes the same.

Watching car shows right now, "how to" do stuff. Boring for most, but I love cars. It was the last day of about the 8th grade, and everyone would dump everything in their locker out on the floor.

I saw a car magazine on the floor, and took it home. That planted the seed. I still remember one of the cars they did a feature about. A Dodge Charger a street racer built. The story was as much about the illegal street racing, as it was about the car.

Well, everyone have a great day, and just say no, to self driving cars.

Cat, I'm so glad you've had good news from the neuro visit and are doing better! I particularly liked this sentence:

So the physical therapy I've been doing seemingly is paying off.

I keep slogging along with the PT exercises I'm supposed to keep up with. It's harder to get on with them each day now that I've finished this course of PT but when I'm tempted to skip some routines I just recall the way I was a few months ago. PT really does help restore functioning and cut down on pain and cramping.

Good luck with the bladder injections. Hope the weakness will get better with a bit more time.

Cat- It's amazing the roller coaster you have travelled to this point. Good travels to your surgery and kudos on the good work w PT.
