    Hi Ann!

Howie, I've used lorazepam for the panic attacks, but that makes me sleepy. I've used gabapentin for other things, like neuralgia. I'll be seeing a doctor on Thursday about my panic attacks.

:)Today was 32 years since my brother Mike and my Father died. It is also my SIL's birthday I have not spoken to her since my brother Paul died of lung cancer except at my Mother's funeral. Before Paul died she cursed at me when I was serving a birthday dinner for him and she made him leave without eating and said right in front of him "You will never see your brother alive again."

And unfortunately I did not. I did talk to him once on the phone when he called my Mother's and I answered. I told him I loved him and I knew he needed her help and had to do what she wished. I told him I would love to be with him but I am glad we got to talk. I have not talked to Elaine since then.

I forgave her awhile back but I have not been ready to reach out to her until this birthday. I sent her a birthday card with a $20. bill in it. I told her I would not be able to forget what she said but I had forgiven her and I knew she was under a lot of stress then.

We had a nice talk and it felt good to have mended that situation. I'm 75 and today she is 69. She struggles money wise but is doing ok. She had heart surgery and cataracts removed. She has a new Doberman dog and he makes her feel safe. Jeanie :)

Jeanie, I'm glad you've patched things up with the SIL. It sounds like one of those situations where "least said, soonest mended," and saying you realize she must have been under a lot of stress at the time probably covers it.

People say and do strange things under extreme stress.

Well, Howie's cats are a possible solution. I'd bet on that Sam in any contest.

I'd hate to see her in a cat fight. I'd feel sorry for her victims.

Oh no, she's seen these posts, and she's getting her chainsaw out...with my blessing! Not for a cat fight, but for a rat. Some can get quit large, so she's taking no chances!

She is paying attention to my post about the rats in the White House - and I don't mean any human ones. The ugly 4 legged ones that roam in the night in the kitchen (or use to). I cringed when I heard that story.

Anyone else feel anxious today, or is it just me?

                    I'm very edgy today, Virginia.

And I keep wondering if Howie ever found his shoe.

I am confident, Virginia, but have fingers crossed anyway.

Ahhh, that shoe. I got a trash bag out, and was going to empty the trash can in the garage, piece by piece, and hopefully find it. But I've never been back in the garage, and now I don't know where that trash bag went. Probably stuffed in that shoe.

Howie, the shoe is at the dump.

No, I'm sure it's not because I knew it was missing before I went to the dump. So I searched everything I took before I tossed it in the big dumpster. It is a real mystery, but I haven't given up.....yet.

Howie, you probably should have kept the stuff that went to the dump and checked again at a later date. I lost my eye glasses a couple of days ago and absolutely could not find them. I later found them in a place I had already searched at least three times.

Have you given Pinky a bath, put some gas in and taken her out for a ride yet? Soon the cover is going to need to be put over her.

Virgina- that has happened in my purse many times. I look for something important that I was sure was in there and it is not. Eventually, I look one more time and there it is!
